Our trip to Alberobello was absolutely wonderful!

Our trip to Alberobello was absolutely wonderful! We had some amazing meals during our stay. La Lira offered the perfect pizza and an excellent selection of wines – truly a memorable dining experience. At 88 Gradi Caffe and Gusto, everything was perfect. The coffee was delightful, and the ambiance made it a great spot to relax and enjoy. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alberobello!

Alberobello is a wonderful place to see, but be warned it is...

Alberobello is a wonderful place to see, but be warned it is overrun by coachloads of tourists and classes of pupils every day. They start to arrive from 9 am and can still be there at 6. Best time for a walk around is early morning. Some very good restaurants here, too. Best to book for most popular ones. Lots of people stay overnight in the village - though thankfully by the evening the coachloads and the schoolkids have gone.

    Alberobello is a special town.

Alberobello is a special town. There is really nowhere else quite like it. That said, it is clearly a town that caters to and derives much of its economy from tourists. I don't think a visit during high season would be as enjoyable as during early April, when I was there. There is much to see in the surrounding area as well, so one does not need to spend more than two days exploring the town itself, which is compact and easy to navigate on foot.

The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night...

The Trulli are wonderful to see during the day and at night they are magical. Plenty of eating options too. We hired a private driver from Bari Airport and were dropped off at the door of our stay in Alberobello. As we had a two night stay - we had time to walk/hike around the countryside close to Alberobello.

The accommodation and location was perfect.

The accommodation and location was perfect. The downside was that Booking.com advised there was 6 Euro daily parking or 2 Euro per hour however that is not correct. Parking in Alberobello is paid parking only for visitors at 2 Euro per hour between 9am and midnight so daily cost for parking was 30 Euro per day. As we stayed 2 full days it cost us 60 Euro which was not expected. We expected to pay 12 Euro as per booking.com advice.

The room is very near the centre of Alberobello, where you can find the Trulli Areas as well as restaurants, bars etc. Area is quiet and the room was cozy since we had a fireplace and also air conditioning. Great for travellers who rented a car as you can easily find parking in the streets - if not the guesthouse offers parking in its own drive in. Owners were so sweet and communicated with us a day before since we arrived late in the evening, so that we can have a swift self-check in. Great experience being in a Trullo!

This was our favorite stay in Italy so far! The host, Anna Maria, became like family. She was the sweetest person and took time to show us the grounds, explain to us the city, make a scrumptious authentic breakfast. You rarely find a host like this. She is the sweetest. The Trulli was such a remarkable place to sleep in for two nights- very historical. This one in particular was beautifully decorated by the host, comfortable bed, AC, stunning bathroom. It also had a secret garden feeling outside! Was BEAUTIFUL

This place is like a storybook setting. Beautiful trulli village just 5mins drive from the centre of Alberobello. The grounds are stunning - creeping vines, sage bushes, lavender with a beautiful pool and views out to the paddocks where cows graze. It’s unbelievably picturesque and the trullo itself is lovingly decorated and just what we needed! Hosts were lovely and the breakfasts were the best we had in Italy - think traditional focaccia with burrata and baked sweets. Sensational.

The apartment is in excellent shape and quite cute! It has a great terrace with views of the center and the trulli. Everything that there’s to see is within 5 to 10 minutes walk from the apartment. Sleeps 4 comfortably and was well stocked with goodies, yogurt, milk, water, and cheese. There’s a carrefour express and a lovely pastry and coffee shop less than a block away. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Alberobello, you should consider Nido sui Trulli!

The property had a beautiful outdoor seating area and private pool. It had a comfortable sleeping area, good storage and good cooking facilities in the kitchen. Great location - It is only 5 minutes to Alberobello. Daniele, the house manager, was great at communicating on day of arrival and departure. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting this area of Italy.

We had a very charming Trullo which was well heated by means of an underfloor heating, very cozy for the usually tiled floors in Italy. The bathroom was up to date and also heated by a radiator. In front if the Trullo there were lighted figures because it was part of a fancy walkway for children during Christmas time. It was only a short walk to the second, bigger area with Trulli.

The trullo is located in a quiet alley but near to the center. It is beautiful and comfortable with all necessary facilities. Although there is no washing machine in the trullo, the self-service laundry shop is very close. Alberobello is so beautiful and safe, you can take a walk anytime to enjoy the atmosphere and the surroundings. Many good places for eating too.

The Hotel was overall good, close to the trulli. We particularly liked the pool, it was comfortable to lounge there duing the morning or late in the afternoon since Alberobello does not have the sea nearby, and with the high temperatures during the day the pool was ideal. The breakfast was ok, but we didn't like the coffee.

Loved the custom order breakfast every morning and the daily housekeeping! Location was right in the middle of all the restaurants and shopping. Lots of activity nearby to keep you busy! The room was a little on the small side but a perfect Trullo experience. Will definitely be back when we return to Alberobello!

Charming Trulli houses in a peaceful farm. Beautiful place, in a great location (1.4km out of Alberobello center). The stuff was very nice and cooperative, they put an extra effort to assist with any of our requests. Breakfast was good and was served in the nice garden between the cherry and olive trees

The hosts Mariella and Vito were so kind to me. They offered me advice on how best to see the sites in a short time. They also helped me rent a bicycle to ride from Alberobello to Locorotondo, an amazing experience. This was one of the best stays in my 11-day Puglia trip.
