I prefer this property is very comfortable for the people who come and stay in the heart part of Trivandrum city and moreover property location is too calm and cool... I suggest west darshan apartment and villas for who comes to trivandrum especially for sree padmanabhan temple visit. Price is very affordable and amenities are very fabulous... The location was excellent, and the hotel is opp trivandrum railway station. Little far from the Padmanadhaswamy temple but walkable as it would take 15 mins to walk. The hotel is worth staying one day. We stayed only for a few hours. We checked in at 9 and checked out at 4:30. Staff was helpful. Check out and checkin in 24 hours. Staff was good and helpful.

Great place with that old world charm. Trees not yet cut down! Good place to visit and lots of places to visit. Food is great and you get almost all type of cuisines, but one word of advice, stick to Kerala cuisine and you will enjoy it!
The Uber cabs are really nice if one experiences the ease of availability and the absence of rate haggling!

Trivandrum is a city of temples and a city full of big government. Everywhere you look you find government buildings or official cars buzzing around. Old Kerala architecture dating from the maharajas and with statues of political giants that tell stories of how Kerala got its culture and geography. The roads are clean, a larger number of iconic/historical eateries provide decent choice across the spectrum from N Indian, Chinese to delectable south indian fare, including one where our late president, APJ Abdul Kalam used to dine(check it out!) Autorickshaws (tuk tuk) and circular doubledecker bus services are the fastest and cheapest ways around the city. Walking is a healthy option to explore with the city showing off renovated traditional architecture from a bygone era. Some of the iconic restaurants include Rehmania Kethel Chicken and Mubarak seafood hotel (on first floor) both inside the chalai market, Sree Guruvayoorappan Hotel (APJ's favourite) and, etc. Attar/Ittar stores inside Chalai market have genuine extracts of vanilla and chocolate that form the bottom notes of any perfume and are exceptional for their purity and unadulterated strength, attracting Maldivian nationals to stock up and convert to perfumes of choice. A famous chips and halwa maker is Maha Chips that has delectable local halwa versions of rice and wheat flour, though different from the Kozhikode version, but similar to the Tirunelveli wheat halwa versions.

If you plan properly u can cover all the places in 3 days. Don't forget the other important temples around padmanaba swami. Vegetarian food is best available at western tower (gopuram) side. Try to carry one set of traditional wear to visit padmanabha swamy temple. Follow their rules meticulously. They are very strict. Don't miss to visit the 2 palace in the east.

The best part about the hotel was the superb staff and the convenience of location . All the staff of the hotel, Security, Reception and cleaning were competent and highly accommodating to ensure that our stay was comfortable and without any concerns. The breakfast was varied, tasty and homely that we were never bored of the food during our week long stay. The quality and service is totally worth the price. Would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quiet place in the heart of Trivandrum city.
I had a wonderful stay with my family at Maryland last week. The villa was neat and tidy with impeccable service. Hosts Edwin and his wife were very friendly who were always there to provide any kind of service and make the stay very enjoyable. The food was delicious and the location was very close to Trivandrum Airport and the beach.

This hotel is on main road and near to Trivandrum medical college. So those who are visiting for medical purpose for them its a very good option. But if you are a tourist then its very bad option bcoz the hotel nd nearby areas are totally crowded with patent, Mask, medical store , over sounding of Ambulance etc.
Excellent location. Only 6min travel from railway station and sri padhmanabha temple. We came to see Kovalam beach and hotel arranged taxi for cheap price. Helpful staff Anish. Here beach is only 1 min walk and Trivandrum airport is just opposit. Silent area and clean rooms
