Even though resort have a beautiful large swimming pool we took a natural dip in river flowing through the property. Water is so clear through and can't imagine the freshness after dip.No one should miss it and direct entry to stream from resort.
Overall it's a Paradise and rooms are well maintained, washroom is soooooo clean . Most luxurious place in an affordable price.
Property is 100 percent safe for ladies and kids and solo traveller.

Beautiful and calm. Good to access via the Nagarahole reserve forest road as well as the Bandipur forest road. The drive in the early morning or evening via these roads are beautiful and can see some wild animals if you are lucky. I travelled from Bangalore via Mysore.

Thirunelli is a very small town of a few houses set in the mountains of Wayanad and there are 3 main reasons for visiting.
1. Famous Maha Vishnu temple which is 4000 years old ( you read it right, 5000 years!)
2. There is a very famous tribal healer who can heal any ailments - or so it is claimed! We met him and he blew us away with his diagnosis, that too just by feeling my pulse - he was spot on! He gave me the diagnosis which perfectly matched with what the doctors in Bangalore found out - after going through tests for a few weeks and a paying LOT of money for these tests,
3. Nature and wildlife. Since 99% of Thirunelli is reserve forest, there is a very high number of wild animals and sightings that you get to see in that region. It is close to Nagarahole and Wayanad wildlife sanctuary. But we had our best sightings sitting in our balcony in Jungle Retreat Wayanad!
