Loved the food and the people. Shopping is light on the pocket. Must visit is Surat castle Dutch Cemetry, and Dumas Beach. You should not skip the Food and shopping here. It's amazing!!!! Not to mention!!!! It's very very very clean. A very apt space for business!!!! I loved everything about this place

Surat is not worth a special visit.
Surat is not worth a special visit. However I stayed an extra night here because I was in a pleasant hotel and I needed more time to make plans for onward travel.
The main place of interest is the fort which has been restored. This was a large well-executed project and many discoveries were made as the ruined building was explored and rebuilt.
Now it is a lovely building and there are also many ceramics, textiles and ivory miniatures on display.
The city is noisy and dirty with some old carved wooden houses.
It is not particularly attractive but it is safe and people were friendly so I enjoyed my stay.
I left by bus and I noticed that there were several upmarket shopping malls on the outskirts.
It was certainly a convenient place for me to stop and review my itinerary.

As per my review Surat city is a big city and maximum business tour has been planned by guest. Hence, a proper accommodation required to be booked for guest for taking rest. Please do not listing such type of hotel to create the bad image of your booking.
FabHotel Udhna Inn is a family hotel to stay in Surat .location of the hotel is very good . We stayed for 01 nights and we are very happy that we choose sarang place . Staff of the hotel is very helpful and efficient. We booked deluxe room and it was very beautiful and utmost comfortable with lot of sunlight in the room .
It was a wonderful stay . Nice location & hotel in a commercial building . Owner is very helpful & clean rooms . . Everything easily available & on the gauravpath road of Surat . Dream Festiva is nearby restaurant which is very awesome & nice food . Overall had a comfortable stay & value for money.
We traveled in Feb with children. Staff were friendly and accommodating to our needs. They even called us so we didn’t miss breakfast and provided breakfast in the room for the children when they were too tried to make it at no extra cost.

Address given was fictitious 8 km away from station and from there tried to call but no proper response. I wasted 3 hours finding this place in rickshaw in Surat. It was fraud basically . I had to find another hotel. I paid heavily by booking fab hotel Group
