Mysore is a clean and green city. People in this city are pretty good and helpful. Being a historic city, there are many places to visit, like Mysore palace, Golden temple, Rail museum, Zoo, Tipu Sultan summer palace, Garden and many more in the city. Out of city, Coorg is a green heaven place with various tourist attractions is worth to visit. Srirangpatnam is historic place of Tipu Sultan.

Mysore has been completely changed, we haven't feel the old Attractions now in the city.. Not maintained properly, all historical places were loosing it's attractions. Now looks like money minded tourism. Only we enjoyed in two places one is Aquamarine and GRS fantasy park.

Mysore is a gem of a city in India.
Mysore is a gem of a city in India. The weather is usually much less extreme than other places in India. The people are friendly and there's lots to do. The palace is beautiful (especially on Sunday night when they light 10K lights for an hour), the catholic cathedral is very nice. The sacred Chamundi Hill is a must! Nandi Bull is on the other side of the hill and carved from a huge boulder. There is also lots of walking places and the Deveraja Market must not be missed for spices, flowers and lots of inexpensive interesting items including incense and jaggery. There is also lots of tailors, jewelry shopping and Mysore silk shops. The Southern Star is a great hotel there.

Mysore is my favorite city in India: it feels rather quiet, spacious, clean and a good atmosphere.
There is good food, southern Indian is my fav’ nice coffee, the beautiful maharajah palace and beautiful architecture, add the holy Chamundi Hill, both for an aerial view of the city and worship of mother Durga
Rooms are clean and spacious and are based on Jungle theme. Every room is named after an animal found in the nearby Forest Reserves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Airport and yet not too far from the city centre. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by greenery. There is ample parking on the road as well as in the basement. The breakfast spread was pretty good for the price that I paid. Do try their Kiwi mocktail (ordered separately in the evening). Probably the best I have ever had.
The hotel is clean and well maintained. The rooms are spacious, the reception area is nice, it has a pool in front of the hotel, when you stand in front of the hotel you can feel the cool breeze from the water pool and small fall. They have around 21 parking space in the basement, additional space is available on side of the road but will not be sufficient if there are guests with more vehicles. It has a balcony which faces the open garden of the vegetation restaurant which is awesome.
No frills hotel with all basic amenities in place. The rooms are pretty small, so makes you feel a bit uncomfortable. Parking is a bit of an issue, with limited parking available for 4-5 vehicles only. Location is the best thing here as it is centrally located
Breakfast was yummy. The staff service and response time leaves much to be desired.
All in all decent hotel within low price budget, good for 1-2 night stay.
The hotel is good. 8/10.
We cannot compare it to Marriott hotels, as they are too good. But the price I paid for each night was around 10k per night during new year eve , which I found was more.
This hotel is max 6-7k per night.
The room service food is awesome.
Staff is good.
The hotel infrastructure is renovated, and I must they have done their best. But not 10k per night stuff.
The hotel manager Sumath had been so helpful and the hotel was so nice, comfortable and well situated that we ended up extended our stay after the original booking
I totally recommend this hotel
There's a shared kitchen, a washing machine and the beds are extra comfortable
The area is nice and far from the main road. No cars noise during the night
What a modern and pleasant hotel in a nice area of Mysore ! The room had the best bed I ever had in India, was very well equipped and calm. Staff is very helpful and friendly and will do its best. The hotel restaurant is also recommendable, with good Indian dishes. On the whole this hotel surpassed my expectations, therefore absolutely recommendable.
This is a great quirky hotel ideally placed in Mysore to visit the palace and the zoo. The rooftop pool was a welcome place on a hot afternoon. The dining was fabulous with good tasty food options. The design of the hotel is very interesting. Room was nice, quiet at night and had a very comfortable bed.
Vinayak palace out side the mysore city but it's good stay with family and friends reception person and room boy was very polite and nice person's the hotel sitchuvated was full outside the city but rooms are clen and good traveler can stay in this hotel
Very nice and comfortable hotel. The location is the best in Mysore: close to different shops, bus station, tourist services and local sights. Although the street is very calm and quiet.
The room itself was comfy.
Beautiful, stylish and modern hotel
Breakfast buffet for only 100 rupees
Clean room with comfortable bed
Spa and wellness options

Lovely bathroom with rainshower
