Great Hotel just a few minutes from Mall Road. Very professional staff and able to help you out anytime. Breakfast spread was amazing. Room spacious having amazing views to the valley. Hotel is huge with lots of room options.
Special note: Last day of our stay our daughter was not well and the hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure that we helped. They sent one of their guys with us in the car to ensure that we were helped out on the route and at the hospital. Much appreciated.

Food was really delicious and not expensive. Location was wonderful, walkable to Mall road. Breathtaking views from the open areas and few room. Kids enjoyed the place as there was a cute little Varandha for them to have fun which was shaded. And a great location to take ton of pics and selfies, esp during sunset. Rooms were extremely large and spacious for family retreat. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Mall road was too congested with traffic vehicles and lot of people. Most of the tourists were not too considerate/sensitive of the surroundings like litter, noisy, not giving way for others, etc. Restaurants were expensive even for basic meal. Beyond mall road, it is nice and beautiful hills, valleys and serene. A walk/trek on your own will be refreshing. My stay was very short I would like to visit and spend a few days.

Don't stay in mussoorie instead stay in dehradun and from there book a cab.
Start your journey from Dehradun to mussoorie early in the morning (around 6-7am so you can avoid endless traffic) and you will finish every tourist point till 4-5PM easily and go back to Dehradun.
Don't stay in mussoorie it's a pathetic place. Also skip kempty fall, not a worthy place to visit but must visit dalai hill. There isn't much exciting expecting hill view that we always get in such places.

I stayed at Hotel Ellbee for four nights. It was a very good experience. The staff is very attentive and helped us promptly. Special thanks to Rizwan for always assisting us. They have a good breakfast spread and also provide a complimentary High tea. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to stay near Mall road.
We stumbled upon this property by luck and we were so happy that we did. It was a perfect mix of luxury, heritage and nature all bundled together. The rooms are all newly refurbished and give a heritage feel and property is a British time gem with stunning Mussoorie valley views. Very close to Mall Road too.

The quality breakfast items , certainly have much scope for improvement. In my stay of two days , I was surprised to find that hotel do not have newspapers. I cannot believe that Mussoorie can not have Dehradun publication in morning.
