Special note: Last day of our stay our daughter was not well and the hotel staff went the extra mile to ensure that we helped. They sent one of their guys with us in the car to ensure that we were helped out on the route and at the hospital. Much appreciated.

Food was really delicious and not expensive. Location was wonderful, walkable to Mall road. Breathtaking views from the open areas and few room. Kids enjoyed the place as there was a cute little Varandha for them to have fun which was shaded. And a great location to take ton of pics and selfies, esp during sunset. Rooms were extremely large and spacious for family retreat. Staff was courteous and helpful.

Don't stay in mussoorie instead stay in dehradun and from there book a cab.
Start your journey from Dehradun to mussoorie early in the morning (around 6-7am so you can avoid endless traffic) and you will finish every tourist point till 4-5PM easily and go back to Dehradun.
Don't stay in mussoorie it's a pathetic place. Also skip kempty fall, not a worthy place to visit but must visit dalai hill. There isn't much exciting expecting hill view that we always get in such places.

Mussoorie is the Queen of Holl Stations. You get incredible views of the snow clad Himalayan ranges from many points.
It is a bustling town with great restaurants, fast food joints, multitude of hotels of all categories.
Happy Valley, a Buddhist centre with a temple are worth visiting, as is the Landour area with spectacular mountain views. There are very interesting Tibetan market stalls on The Mall road with bargain prices for various clothing and trinkets.
Weather is best from March to June and September to mid November, but an enjoyable destination year round. Easy access by car and only an hour away from airport and train station.
I visited GoStops Mussoorie on 27th of May. Initially decided to stay there for 2 days. 2 days turned into 2 weeks in a blink of an eye. The stay there was comforting, homely and full of life!
Shiva, Pushpak and Kanchan managed the property so well. My mornings were blissful and nights were calm. They helped me with all my queries.
For people travelling solo or with a bunch of friends, looking for a stay in mussoorie should definitely visit GoStops Picture Palace, Mussoorie. They great facilities and happy faces too.

The property is a small boutique hotel perfectly isolated from the hustle bustle of the Mussoorie summer tourist crowd. Each room is picturesque with themes and color. The wind blowing through the pines adds to the beauty of the property. Room with view should be booked as other room type may come as bit claustrophobic. Food prepared is good and tasty but a tad expensive.
The hotel is conveniently located on Mall Road with some nice restaurants, bars and cafés nearby. Manager and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view.
It's a bit tricky to find the place. You have to climb the stairs that are part of a temple. But locals will help you.

The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms (there was even a tv by the shower), and high quality service. Also, they are one of few hotels that allow people under 21 to book a reservation.
