We stayed at Yalakhom for two days, and were blown away. The food was delectable, and so were the surroundings. The staff led by Mr Agrim was courteous and helpful. We had a sublime experience.

The food was amazing, as the view, in the mountains, Mani is an excellent host !!
1. Its a long and tedius trekking of 12 km. Young can complete the trek in 4 to 5 hrs. People aged above 40 years can take upto 9 hrs.
2. Be prepared to carry raincoats and waterproof gloves, incase if it rains. If it rains it will make the trek more diffcult and risky and it will take longer to reach the top.
3. Carrying trekking pole or wooden stick can help.
4. Book the tents for staying prior to trekking.
5. No mobile signals after reaching about half way the trek
6. Though they claim wifi access, its available only from 7 pm to 11 pm when the genset is on and the access is limited to the kitchen area.
7. There are multiple paths to reach Kheerganga. The short-cuts are steep and difficult but will save time.
8. There are shops which cater beverages, water bottles, maggi and other snacks about every 3 kms.
9. Don't forget to carry pain killers and sprays to tender your sore legs and back!!
