Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

Quick tips-
Great place to visit during winter. Book a hostel room/dorm, interact with fellow travelers & visit the sites.
Book a hotel around Stepwell & rent a scooty to travel on your own accord. All tourist attractions have parking available at a nominal rate.
Do try Vijay restaurant which offers an amazing variety of Rajasthani food along with lasun chatni (must)
Everything! This is a must stay when travelling to Jodhpur! The hotel is beautifully decorated in the signature colour. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is just perfect. Also a must is the cooking course provided by the hotel with the owner’s wife. This was my favourite activity in our whole journey.
Normally I wouldn’t say this, but in this case book everything through the hotel. They get you the best deal and the best services. So, tours, the cooking course, transfer to a next destination etc.
One of the most wonderful experiences I had in India. The location is perfect, close to the fort and the blue corridor. The room and common areas were super clean, and the rooftop has the best view of the fort. Ilu and her family are welcoming and very kind. I arrived very late at the guest house and she waited for me with homemade food. Breakfast and dinner were so tasty that I didn’t want to go to any restaurant. I totally recommend this warm and beautiful place to stay in Jodhpur ☺️
There's one word for this place and it's 'outstanding'.
This place is by far the best and authentic places I've stayed whilst in India.
The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the views from the roof Cafe are probably one of or, if not, the best in Jodhpur to view the fort and blue city.
The service here is great, the rooms and the entire 'heritage' style of the place is very authentic, and the location, well come and see it for yourself because you won't be disappointed!!
The hotel is very well located, walkable distance to all attractions. The room was clean and have towels, toilet paper, soap (having the 3 is not always common in India). The owner is very helpful with places to visit in Jodhpur, he even reserved a bus ticket for us and also gave us some contacts for hotels in other cities that we visited in the next days. Very recommended!
Very quirky hotel which was one of the best boutique style I have stayed in in India. Super helpful staff. Great location in centre of Old Town. Excellent cafe/restaurant. Very good value
