It was nice stay in Mango Tree Homestay. The place is little far off from Hospet but really close to the archeological sites of Hampi. Also if you wany a quite stay in a homely environment it is the perfect place to be. The owner also helps with necessary tips and arrangements for sightseeing. Homemade breakfast and coffee we really liked most. The restaurant facility of the owner although Vegetarian but of really good quality.

The overall experience of stay was good and the nature of the host was very friendly except few things which I like to mention that drinking water was not adequately available ,privacy was bit compromised as the window on the stairs make you feel unsecured, thirdly the bathrooms were not clean and soap was not available.Rest everything was fine which makes you stay comfortable and it is value for money

Great location. Could walk everywhere and only need a tuktuk driver for one day to see monuments. Rocky was very helpful in organising a driver to pick me up from the train station in Hosapete. The room was very clean and the aircon was fantastic. Best is to wake up early and see everything before it gets too hot. Then sit in the room and cool off. Wifi worked great! Rocky helped organise laundry too. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Rocky even let me borrow his computer to do some data transfers. I stayed during Holi festival! It was amazing. Rocky even let me stay till my bus that left in the evening. Would recommend for convenience!

It was an amazing experience.
It was an amazing experience. We went for Holi and it was worth it. The only pain point was the weather. It was too hot so I would definitely recommend you go either during monsoon or post that. Apart from that the landscape is very unique and beautiful.

Hampi is a very special place even if you just want to watch the sunrise or the sunset, however it alot more to offer with the history of the city. I fully rec
ommend you hire a qualified guide for the day it costs around 2500/3000 but well worth it otherwise your just walking around ancient sites not knowing what it all was. It's very spread out so you need transport, scooters tuktuk taxi. Alot is free but some places you need to pay it costs 600 which lets you into 3 of the locations. The temple elephant goes down to the river for its daily bath which is a good experience as you can get in the river near to it. Just enjoy it

The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable.
The sheer extent of the historical sites is remarkable. We benefitted from being adjacent to this in the Temple View Hotel in the bazaar area. The museum and main palaces are a must, made more pleasant and achievable on the heat by engaging an auto rickshaw driver at an agreed rate for the day( suggest 1,500 rupees for the day) Chill out bamboo was our favourite eating and cool drink location.

Nobody will tell you the following.
Nobody will tell you the following.
I previewed nearly hundreds of videos on Hampi on YouTube. But nobody gave proper iternary about how to visit the places.
Use Google map and directions to visit the places. Hier two wheeler if you don't have your own vehicle. Do not go for auto rickshaw option unless otherwise you can't drive.
Start the morning with queens bath and surrounding temples. Then visit Vitthal temple.
Take some rest in your hotel and in the evening visit sunset point and surrounding temples.
At night you can visit virupaksha temple.
Next morning visit sunrise point. Then go for "darli" ride. Visit the other side of Hampi that is hippy Island. Visit Anjanedari hill.
If you have more time you can visit the other remaining places.

As the Hampi is famous for the Stone Chariot which was situated at the Vitthala Temple and other monuments which includes Virupaksha Temple. The best thing is the Sunrise & Sunset at the different locations i.e. Matanga Hills, Sanapur Lake etc. Overall the Best trip for the solo travellers as we will get partners from the another countries which came to roam Hampi. If you want to chillout with your friends definitely visit but book a room near virupaksha temple and use bicycle or the journey which will give best experience ever.
The place is located at the prime location so the commute is easily accessible. The stay was very comfortable and memorable, it exceeded my expectations. The room was very clean and hygienic. The best part was the home-cooked food provided by the owner of the homestays, which made the experience even more homely. They also helped us with the things which we can explore in the city and guided us with the transportation. The owner is very friendly and it truly felt safe and homely. Highly recommended , if you are planning a trip to Hampi
Banana farmhouse has the best location with clean and comfortable accommodation in Hampi at a very reasonable price. The owner Pampi and host family treated us like family. It felt like we have come to stay at big brother's house for vacation. Also one should not miss tasty dosas made by his wife for breakfast. Property is less than 2 km from Virupaksha temple so its quicker to reach to Hemkunta hill for sunrise and sunset. Overall we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Hampi.
If you're looking to stay in Hampi, Vikky is the place to be. The location is excellent. You can sit on the shared balcony, overlooking the little shopping street below. Or, head to the roof to see Virupaksha Temple in all its glory. The rooms are functional, clean, and comfortable. What really makes the stay is Krisha and his family. They truly took care of us. If you need or want something, just ask. Amazing people. Stay here when you come to Hampi, end of story.
Welcoming and peaceful place right next to the rice paddies. Away from the city. The food is amazing, the menu has Indian, Italian, Mexican dishes and more. Good western breakfast. Nice chilling common area, usually with good music and vibes. You can easily rent a bike or order a tuk tuk to take you to the main Hampi attractions. The host and staff are super friendly. 👌 I initially booked 2 nights and ended up staying 6 nights. Internet available.
My recent stay at Mamatha Guest inn was a pleasant experience overall. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, with the housekeeping staff maintaining a high standard throughout my visit. I found the hotel to be quite reasonable compared to others in the area. The amenities provided exceeded my expectations given the affordable pricing. I would recommend Mamatha Guest inn for those seeking a clean and budget-friendly accommodation option.
It was a wonderful experience.. the host was extremely helpful and guided us all along from the booking of the trip untill the end. Also the staff wore helpfull and kind. The rooms wore budget friendly and met the expectations as per the charge..
Would love to visit again and stay more days.
Thankyou sunrise guesthouse for an amazing experience..
Apologies for the late review...
Good luck and continue your good work 👍
First mention we have to make of the host Raghu is a great person. He was super helpful and always available for any kind of guidance. His family is super warm and we had our best meals in Hampi at his house which were prepared by his mother in their kitchen . the location is super convenient and the view from the terrace of the green fields is beautiful. You also get to experience the local village life.
The location is a big big plus.. away from the city hustle and nestled among nature makes it a great place to stay.. The home cooked food is excellent and the landlady ensures that you feel at home. The couple are excellent hosts and the staff is very cooperative and helpful. The rooms are clean and the homestay is worth the stay..
I will definitely be staying here when I visit hampi again.
The location is undeniably amazing if you are okay with the fact that the resort is on the other side of the riverbank opposite to where all the popular sights are. The fastest way to the main temple complex is via ferry or coracle boat from Hippie Island (which is like 20 min away from the resort).
Jack, the resort dog, was lovely too. Scooter rental is available. And they offer beer.
You're in the heart of the city, very homely and super clean room & washroom. Kishore and his appa were the best hosts, great recommendations and even made arrangements on request. Communication with the host was friendly and they were available throughout the stay.
Tip: You may not need to book air con as the room itself is rather cool and has a super strong fan.
I planned to visit Hampi and have a pet, so this is the only option in my budget.
The property is spacious and is pet-friendly. The staff is courteous. The township where this hotel is located is awesome.
There is a Domino Pizza in the township and two other restaurants you can try there once you get bored with hotel food.
Clean and tidy place. The homestay owner uncle and aunty were sweet. They provided great service. Aloo paratha was tasty. They were really helpful and were very polite to talk to. I recommend this place to stay if you want to visit central hampi. This is very close by Virupaksha temple.
This is one of the best accommodations available in Hampi..considering it to be a tiny city
Location is great..besides Virupaksa Temple
Rooms and toilets are clean
Food is great and reasonably priced
Host/owner of the accommodation is friendly and very helpful
The owner asked us to cancel due to G20 event. He said everything was closed which, actually, was not true. We could see Hampi in the mornings perfectly. We had to book in another more expensive hotel. Not helpful and friendly staff
Easily one of the best views to stay at in Hampi. The owner Harsha too is easily one of the friendliest energies to connect with. A must stay for any traveller who needs their silences. Thank you Harsha for everything 😊
Really accommodating and friendly hosts. Keen to help you make the most of your time in Hampi. Laundry was free of charge, and the food was amazing.
Anji offers good value tours of Hampi.
Im in love with the Atmosphere and the location..
Special Mention Muralidhar Brother is soo sweet..
Lotte is so friendly..
If your planning to visit hampi then this is the must stay place..
The best host, we've ever met, very helpful. Super service, clean room, near to Hampi. Breakfast and dinners were delicious. It was pleasure to stay there...like home. :)
