Needs small improvements, like no intercom, instead a mobile number provided which is a manager number. (1) i suggest they can provide a permanent / exclusive mobile number at RECEPTION so that guest can call. (2) Reception place needs interior decoration as per star rating. (3) Support staff must wear a standard uniform, jacket or overcoat having Hotel name, emblem embossed on it with a name plate of staff. so that a guest can easily identify

My expectation about Bodh Gaya fell far short of expectation. A world heritage site where so many people even foreigners visit should have been much much cleaner with proper crowd management mechanism.
People visit Gaya for religious purpose. Authorities should remember God lives in cleaner places. Gaya is unbelievably dirty chaotic, traffic is atrocious . I didnt like the place.
If I had better option for pindadaan I would rather go to that place than Gaya.
I will not recommend my children or any one to go to Gaya for pindadaan.
A place of such importance for Hinduism should have been much better.
Gaya gives a very bad and wrong image of traditional India. I am ashamed that this place is visited by foreigners who get a wrong idea about India.

I suggest spending a day in Bodhgaya (close to Gaya) if you're travelling around North India. It is not very touristic, so it can give you another perspective of the country and it is also a "wind of fresh air" after visiting indu temples and mosques: here you can find dozens of buddhist temples, all in the same place! Of course the Mahabodhi Temple is the cherry on top of the cake, we liked it a lot.

People are very honest, diligent and sincere.
People are very honest, diligent and sincere. They are poor yet dependable. Most unhygienic, poor-quality food. The state government has utterly failed in maintaining the sanctity of the holy places.
The monastery and temples are very well and beautifully maintained.
The poverty and illiteracy of the poor people is very well exploited by the successive state governments.

First select a room not by the rating & offers provided in booking.com, if I viewed the review of that hotel in google. I wouldn't have booked it. Pls book a decent hotel while traveling to other States (Book hotels really have all amenities don't get cheated by false offers in booking.com). Money is not important peace of mind is important. If you feel you re being cheated, you can't enjoy the trip.
Nice hotel, big rooms, good support from helpful staffs, room service, breakfast. Everything supposes to be perfect and I should have given 10/10, but given 8 for a reason.
We 3 are Sr Citizen aged between 72 to 79 years and arrived from Kolkata by Rajdhani express at 11:00 pm at night at Gaya Railway station. They had sent a person to receive us from station and escorted till hotel. Also helped us to make arrangement of Budhdha Gaya trip. Everything was good except day 1 hick ups.

This is one of the best property in gaya till date in which I have stayed. The staff were really helpful and took extra care of everything. It’s just 500m from gaya international airport which makes it more worthy staying. The food was amazing and very tasty. just try their reshmi tikka kebab, you will love it. So it’s a big yes from my side and i will definitely recommend this to everyone.
Hotel saraogi palace and hotel saraogi are 2 different hotels stayed adjacent. They are brothers the staff said. I was shown photos of saraogi palace in the app at the time of booking and my 4 rooms were given at saraogi hotel at 2nd floor. Booking.com should take action about this.No elevator was there. After a lot of argument I adjusted with 3 rooms rooms downstairs.
The property is absolutely neat and clean and they are wonderful hosts. We arrived early in the morning around 4:30 and the arrangements were done in the waiting room which was as good as the room. We had a pleasant stay and had no problems at all. They can arrange for transit as well as your needs. Like Auto and Cab at a cost effective price. Which saves time.
Location is amazing. Middle of the market. Everything around. Just beneath the hotel there is food joint known as Birthday something...amazingly tasty food!!!! All the items fromm punjabi to chinese. Staffs are very helpful and friendly which I was least expecting before check in Gaya 😀
We liked the stay. comfortable and happy stay
I understand that this hotel is in the city centre and the location is easy to find.
Luxury hotel luxurious rooms and it was clean and warm.
All the facilities were good. They have strong wifi. Good for foreign tourists.
Nice good food.
The hotel management and service is good 👍
We arrived late but the hotel manager was waiting for our arrival. It's a walking distance from Karnataka Bhawan and Vishnupadh Mandir .
Food is tasty and pure veg and hotel beds are comfortable and highly recommended.
The Hotel receptionist admitted me at 2AM on 14.12. 2022. . They forced me to Pay Rs:300 for early check in at 9AM. I had to Paid 300 in addition to actual rent. I checked out 11.45 PM on 14-12-22.They behaved very rudely. You Never send Parties to this Hotel.
Nothing. Booking was confirmed but no information was passed to hotel. I have to wait for one and half hour at the counter. Anyway room was booked at counter after paying full rent. Booking.Com is highly unprofessional, irresponsible service provider.
