The location is amazing and the staff takes really good care of you. They have a nice menu card and the chef has some serious talent !! Food was always delicious and affordable. The view from our room was amazing. Utkarsh, who has just taken up managing the property is doing a stellar job at it. We loved being taken care of so well:)

Dapoli is all about beaches and beaches. Some Very good temples like Keshavraj temple, kadyavaril ganpati are worth visit. People here are quite cold especially resturant folks so ensure you either pack some munchies while yiu travel. Good food is rarity, hence i would highly recommend to book a good hotel accomodation with all amenties else you will suffer.

Dapoli and vicinity is laid back and good for relaxation.

Dapoli and vicinity is laid back and good for relaxation. However the roads to Dapoli need to be really repaired/ done up. On our ride into Dapoli, Google directed us to the Amber Mhapral road. Avoid this route as this road is under heavy repair and extremely dusty. A bridge on this road is deemed unsafe for cars and heavy vehicles so you need to take a ferry and that can add upto half an hour to your travel time. On our return we took the Mahad road that is much better. Traveling to and from Mumbai means taking the NH66 and it's in terrible shape. Traffic bottleneck at Mandgaon both ways.

Most of it is crowded since people visit the same places.

Most of it is crowded since people visit the same places. But you can take lesser frequented routes, like the road to Dabhol beach, the tour of the cashew processing factory along the way, and more. Enter Mahad city and turn from Shivaji chowk; that route is better and shorter than the way from Khed. You'll have to visit Murud beach really early (preferably before sunrise) to catch a glimpse of dolphins.

Please don't visit Dapoli these days.

Please don't visit Dapoli these days. The road to Dapoli is very bad and too many lanslides and Rockfall on the way.Although there is no rainfall, but very risky during travel. You will struggle to find food once you are out of main city becuase almost all eating points are shut off. We somehow spent 2 days and came back to pune. Not a good experience overall.

Beautiful beaches.. loads of fun... if u like crowd go to the murud beach in dapoli.. one of the longest beaches with loads of crowd.. if you like it more quiet there is ladghar beach, anjarle beach... AMAZING SEAFOOD..... the roads and access to Dapoli from Mumbai is terrible. SH 102, SH 103 are all under construction.. so beware of that.. but once u get to Dapoli its fun!!!! Plan atleast 2 nights.. more if you want....

We trust Lotus Hotel properties after our stay in Lotus Puri. And Lotus Murud validated our choice for this chain. The location was wonderful, our room patio opened to beach view, the staff is very courteous & cooperative. Special mention goes for service staff at the dining area - Viraj and Avani. Both made for excellent service people with a helpful attitude. Avani had good knowledge of tourist spots too. We are now looking forward to going to another Lotus property wherever it’s located

Friday I checked in & Sunday checked out. Both days nobody came to clean the room.Nobody served water. AC was leaking. Water was dripping out. When asked about Cleaning, owner very rudely replied that nobody asked to clean the room. Do the guest ever ask for cleaning room ? It's duty of Hotel Staff.
