Gaurav who worked in the hotel was helpful. He made my stay more pleasant and comfortable by providing a kettle, shampoo and soap when asked for. I was supplied with a large water butt every few days so I had a good supply of safe drinking water, and didn't need to buy plastic bottles of water. He also supplied a cable for my phone and another cabinet to rest my case on. The staff were helpful with requests. Bed was comfortable and linen was refreshed regularly. Room was quiet and had air conditioning. Quiet location.

All the site seeing is good like temple, Dashshwamedh Ghat, Cruise but there is hell lot of traffic on the road. Lot of small crowded lanes. It is a must visit place which gives you positive vibes. Only flip side is the local people are very Greedy and dishonest near all the religious places They have made commercialisation of Temples and other religious places.
Must try local food, chat items at Kashi Chat Bhandar and Dina chat Bhandar.

Try to wake up early and walk in the ghats or take a boat ride. It's too hot during the day, hence take rest in a cool place during the day and go out again at evening. Walk at Godhulia. explore places in Bengoli Tola. Dine in at the restaurants at the riverside. Travel. Enjoy your life.

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir was the reason we went to Varanasi but we discovered more & more with each passing day. More Mandir, more stories and more discoveries.
The city never ceases to surprise you. Narrow streets, zillion shops, food all around and so many faces, you just cant stop getting overwhelmed. This city cant be absorbed in a single lifetime.
A must visit once in a life.
But yes, be prepared for CRAZY traffic because of Locals + Tourists.

If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that...
If you’re planning a trip to India, one destination that absolutely must be on your itinerary is Varanasi. As the oldest inhabited city in the world and a sacred place for Hindus, Varanasi offers a profound experience that bridges the gap between past and present. The city’s timeless ambiance immerses you in history while maintaining a vibrant connection to contemporary life. Its bustling streets, teeming with people and infused with chaotic energy, add an undeniable charm to this enigmatic city.
Varanasi is a treasure trove of culture and tradition, offering visitors a deeper understanding of Indian faiths, religions, and society. From the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti ceremonies on the ghats to the labyrinthine lanes of the old city, every corner of Varanasi tells a story of spiritual significance and cultural richness. Exploring its ancient temples, engaging with local rituals, and witnessing the ebb and flow of life along the sacred Ganges River are experiences that will stay with you long after you’ve left.
Moreover, Varanasi’s culinary scene is a delight for food enthusiasts, offering a diverse array of flavors and delicacies that tantalize the taste buds. Whether savoring mouthwatering street food or indulging in traditional Banarasi cuisine, every meal in Varanasi is a culinary adventure.
In essence, a visit to Varanasi is not just a journey through space, but also through time and spirituality. It’s an immersion into the essence of India, where ancient traditions coexist harmoniously with modern realities, leaving an indelible mark on the soul of every traveler.
One of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The views from the room were spectacular and well worth the price. A special shout out to the cook, Gopal and his assistant as they kept us healthy and our tastebuds happy during our entire stay in Varanasi. We also booked the Ganges sunrise boat ride and city tour through Ranjit and thoroughly enjoyed them as well! Overall a 10/10 experience!
The best hotel in Varanasi. Located in recently rebuilt traditional Indian house. Not only very clean and comfortable rooms, but also delicious Indian food and the owner who treats you as his family. We will miss our talks with the man who knows everything about Indian culture and heritage. Great location 5 minutes walk from the main Ghat is not easy to find at the first time. But you can always contact the owner on WhatsApp.
Very lovely staff that were incredibly helpful and happy to help. Really good food at any time of day which was a life saver after a long hard travel day.
Really recommend an early morning boat trip booked through the hotel. Picked up at 5am and taken to a boat to see the morning ceremonies and the ghats coming to life. Best thing I did in Varanasi and very reasonable price and made easy by the hotel.
