Terrible place with no road rules. You can do anything on the road and nobody bothered.
Heavy traffic. You cannot plan to visit any place due to long time to reach somewhere.
Will never go again.
Visited Lalbagh garden. It is so easy to build a carpark inside the garden. But no good planning.

Bangalore is an absolutely rocking city - despite all the challenges with road traffic. It is surely one of the start-up capitals of the world and the energy over there is very infectious. The food and nightlife ecosystem is awesome with infinite choices, from the traditional gems to new kids on the block.

Bengaluru means love, home and family to me.
Bengaluru means love, home and family to me.
Alas, its struggling currently to preserve its identity today, but in the struggle for self preservation, its alienating itself from the tolerance and adoption that once made it a great city. Forgetting, burried under churn of growth, that a great culture can only achieve greatness with how it supports, adopts and asimmilates other culture into its womb. You cant force a language and culture on to visitors, instead you let your culture and language win them over.
Bengaluru has become the cautionary tale of explosive growth of any city in India. And its people bear the direct brunt of this growth. I went back after around 7 years, traffic is worse as ever, road rage has increased, ola cabs drivers are cheats as ever, and knowledge of kannada language is more essential then ever. An unending war between preserving its identity and growing to meet the deamnds of a global market.
But once you learn to look over these unfortunate results of forced explosive economic growth, its a place with the lovliest people with the biggest hearts, hospilatiy beyond measure, most heavenly food in south india, cluture at par and some of the most proud people and culture with eons of history to show for. Here you will see the victory of perseverance of its people in the face of diversity, adversity and an endless assault of a global flood of immigrants.
A true melting pot, that has somehow managed to preserve its soul so far. Proud of bengaluru!

We made Bangalore the end of our 3 week trip through South India, and found it a nice way to wrap up our trip. It is clearly the most cosmopolitan city we visited, and it was fun after 3 weeks of travel to spend some time relaxing at various local brew pubs. We spent only one full day - not enough time!
The room was bigger than any premium hotel rooms offered by 5 star hotels business category. The living cum bedroom was huge. The bathroom is almost half the size of the living room. I cant imagine a room as big as this with dual beds a smart tv, andv clean in all aspects at sub 2000rs levels. Seriously... Im shocked to see that room.
