Perfect for little ones with a no fuss breakfast with plenty of choices, 2 fantastic playgrounds for ages 0-12. One had slides and swings, the other had more musical instruments and rope climbing. There was a shaded baby pool and the shallow area of the grown up, heated pool, was also shaded. The kibbutz is absolutely stunning with incredible views and a 5 minute drive to the dead sea, and only 30 min to Jerusalem. Kids loved it.
Kibbutz Hotel offers a great location, just a 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea. Free private parking is possible on site. Rooms at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel are set in the rich botanical gardens.

I loved the pools in the Spa. It was a most wonderful experience. The temperature of the water was perfect in both of them. The staff were lovely. I highly recommend this Spa. I also loved the trees and flowers everywhere in the kibbutz. Very special.

We recently had the pleasure of embarking on a truly unforgettable vacation in a caravan off the beaten path in the North of the Red Sea in Israel. From start to finish, this experience was nothing short of magical, offering total solitude and a serene, peaceful environment that was perfect for anyone seeking a meditative and spiritual retreat.
First and foremost, I have to commend the hosts for their outstanding hospitality and warm welcome. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home and like we were part of the family. They were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure that we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
As for the location itself, words simply cannot do justice to the stunning natural beauty that surrounded us. The caravan was situated in an idyllic spot, overlooking a breathtaking landscape of rolling hills, rocky cliffs, and crystal-clear waters. It was truly a slice of paradise, and we felt incredibly lucky to have found such a hidden gem.
One of the things that really stood out to me about this vacation was the sense of total solitude and tranquility that permeated every aspect of our stay. We were far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and there were no distractions or interruptions to disturb our peace. Instead, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the natural world around us, taking long walks, meditating, and simply enjoying the stillness and silence of the desert.
Of course, no vacation would be complete without some fun and adventure, and there was plenty of that to be had as well. We spent our days hiking, exploring nearby beaches and coves, and soaking up the sun on the deck of the caravan. In the evenings, we would gather around the fire pit, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories under the stars.
All in all, I cannot recommend this caravan vacation enough. It was an absolutely top experience, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Beautiful setting, sitting out under the stars for hours with the view of the Dead Sea right there....so quiet! We were grateful for the air conditioning and refrigerator (it was very hot outside--but in the evening cooled way down). Very close to Ein Gedi and just down the road from Qumran and Massada. Loved it! Would go again.

The location is beautiful, but there isn't much to do and after a while the scenery can feel very repetitive. You will need a car to get there and travel, this not a walking destination - although perfect for hiking. There aren't really any restaurants so bring food.

Incredible views, super friendly staff and really good vibes - there is a bar with really chilled music and beers/food on tap. We had a car which made getting around really easy: we went to Ein Gedi and bathed in the Dead Sea. There is a supermarket 10 mins away and cooking facilities at the cabin, we had a bbq one night which the staff helped us to set up! Incredibly grateful for such an amazing trip!!
Tranquillo is an awesome camping site + glamping with a very comfort and well maintained facilities. We've enjoyed our stay a lot and like having trips and viewing the surroundings. This is not a top tier hotel, this is a camping site so if you come with the right expectations you will enjoy the place for sure.
