Manager was very keen to ensure that we were satisfied with our room given lengthy stay (16 nights).
Key staff members very friendly ... the others warmed up over time with consistent greeting and smiles - by the end of our stay were seeking to make eye contact and share greeetings and smiles.
Good selection for breakfast, Israeli and European style. Front desk staff flexible in allowing earlier breakfast access, but even better when ask them to pass on that message to kitchen and dining room staff that such request and arrangement made.
Thick walls of hotel block nearly all noise from adjacent rooms.
Rooms at rear of the hotel are quietest and a little larger.
In the centre of Carmel, the Dan Panorama Haifa is a landmark hotel. This 21-storey tower offers great accommodation with panoramic views and a great range of hotel facilities.

אחלה מלון פעם שנייה שלנו , צוות מעולה חדר נקי שקט הכל היה מעולה
Located on the Mediterranean coast, very close to the beach of Haifa and adjacent to the commercial complex "Leonardo on the sea" with a complex that includes activities, sports and water attractions...
Good place and kind staff. Bleakfast is good to eat.
I used to live here for a long time, so I am biased.
I used to live here for a long time, so I am biased. It's as bustling as ever, despite the challenging times. The old city is undergoing a revival, and the upper city remains nice, however Hadar seems to be sinking into further neglect in some areas.
There aren't a huge number of attractions, but there are a few museums, gardens and parks (including the Baha'i gardens), and lots of restaurant options.

A fully integrated city where Christians, Muslims, Druze and Jews coexist harmoniously. The richness of that reality is on view everywhere. We were in town during the Christmas season, and, while subdues due to he war, was visible and festive nonetheless. The city architecturally is fascinating ad of course the port of Haifa is mesmerizing. It is a hilly city situated on the Carmel range and so the views are breath taking. Bring binoculars.

The hotel cheated the clients.
The hotel cheated the clients. They sent me a WhatsApp: if I pay HKD500 more, I cant get a seaview room. But in a face, all the hotel rooms are faced the sea. Our friend no deed to pay any more, they also got the same seaview room as us.
Even I complainted several times, but the hotel had no any reply.
I am so angry for that.

We liked Haifa very much ,you can make very good sight seeing tours from there ,it is nearby to all the places ,were Jesus Christ has been ,like Tabgha with the church of multiplication, the sea of galiley, Kapernaum ,Nazareth, and many more. The gardens of Bahai. All destinations are not so far away from Haifa, so we could make a lot of sight seeing from there ,and come back in the evening and maybe eat so delicous food in the bar restaurant at the beach and refresh ourselfs in the sea, it was just perfect. The water is still very warm until the morning .

Haifa is a beautiful city.
Haifa is a beautiful city. There are plenty of places to visit there and it is a city filled with a great variety of food and culture. I specially liked the bars and restaurants around the fruit and vegetables market. And the most important you have public transportation on Saturday which is very important for the traveler and is so uncommon in the rest of Israel.
We arrived at this beautifully renovated building at the center of downtown Haifa, following informative texts from the host (who is the best; even after I accidentally entered the wrong room he was super nice about it). The apartment is spacious, clean, well kept and although above bars&restaurants it is super quiet. Besides the perfect location for everything (nightlife, morning coffee, public transport, shopping etc) the apartments are privet, well designed and well equipped for a long stay as well as for a quick getaway from life.
This was our third annual visit to the Schumacher Hotel, and we were once again impressed by the comfortable accommodations and convenient location.
Within walking distance of the Bahai Gardens, main markets, and restaurants, as well as the Haifa lower city, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city.
The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the rooftop provides stunning views of the Bahai Gardens.
Additionally, there is ample parking available nearby, making it easy to come and go as you please.
Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the views from our room and beds were very comfortable. Short walk to bars and restaurants, parking options and buses just outside, making it a great base for trips around North Israel.
All the staff were amazing: always helpful and they did their best to make our stay the best possible (particular shoutout to Iian) . Thank you, if in Haifa. I’ll definitely stay again.
This was the 2nd time we stayed at this hotel and again super happy. It's a small boutique hotel, super clean, with modern facilities, comfy beds, and friendly stuff -- what else could you wish? The breakfast is very yummy, it's not a huge buffet like in bigger hotels but every tastes home-like and is fresh. Bat Galim beach is just within few mins walk. A very nice Italian restaurant is also nearby.
Its a very good hostel to meet people and discover the city. The atmosphere is very calm and chill, one of the best in Israel!!
You can visit a lot places in Haifa from the place. The trainstation is very close and the busstation directly infront of the house. My favorite place was the beach, you need to walk 25 minutes but it is worth it ;)
I definetly want to visit the place again!!
First of all: this is not a five-star hotel. The main point here is that this is a sub-100 bucks hotel that actually doesn't suck. We got accommodation for around 50 EUR per night here, when all the stays at Haifa would have been 100 EUR and more, AND it was not only bearable, actually it was quite ok. Plus the staff was very kind and proactively helpful.
Price definitely beats all other accommodation options in Haifa. Place is not far from Haifa city centre, by car it is easy to go anywhere around. Free street parking is available and easy to find a spot.
Washing machine is available as well as detergents, it was very useful as we were on a quite long trip during hot Israel summer :)
The hosts of the hotel received us very nicely even before the supposed time . They have upgraded us with a beautiful room view an amazing sea view. The swimming pool was big and warm . And the breakfast delicious. They allowed us to go for coffee as much as we wanted . The hosts kept being present and offering help
Lovely hotel. Clean n everything you needed.
Huge breakfast ( which they organised for us super early as we were going out that day )
Very helpful staff.we arrived with no cases after a mixup at the airport, n staff went out their way to help .
Including finding us charger cables for our phones .
Lovely stay
The hotel felt very exclusive and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The room was very spacious and was finished to a high standard. The hot tub was used throughout our stay. I would highly recommend Carmel for any couple looking to visit Haifa for a couple of nights.
Cozy, absolutely full facilities, super comfortable, one of the best finds on Haifa, and we come here a lot.
Great for those who comes to look for a quiet, beautiful well equiped apartment, and still be close to the main locations, our host was very nice too.
The breakfast is good. The view of the bay from the room is great. Note that the breakfast in this hotel used to be outstanding. Now unfortunately the breakfast is not as good as it used to be, the orange juice is NOT freshly prepared.
The staff was wonderful, and the view of Haifa was amazing. There's a coffee shop or bar at the lobby, not open on Saturdays. They do nice things for holidays. There's parking in the hotel. Many places nearby to eat. Will come back
The lady Erika that took care of us was the best. The hotel was so so, much like a hostel. Hot water was a premium, the place is run down, in general, if it wasn't for Erika we would have walked out and found another place.
location on the beach but very convenient, we had honeymoon suite which was spacious and had good views. The hotel reception and bar facilities are being redeveloped currently but this wasn’t a problem for us .
We enjoyed a lot our stay. The rooms are modern and extremely clean. The staff was super nice. The hotel is located in a central location, making it easy to explore Haifa. Public parking nearby
This hotel was perfect for my one night stay in Haifa's Bat-Galim area. Ilan was a great host, the early check in and wine were very appreciated! Comfortable and clean room.
There's plenty of parking space around the hotel, The room was super nice and clean. It was lovely to have free coffee and cake for when we needed it. Highly recommended
