Israel’s tiny speck of Red Sea is squeezed between Eqypt (Taba) on one side and Jordan (Aqaba) on the other side. Eilat is a resort city for glamorous people lying on the beach and scuba divers under the sea who come together for superb sunsets and long, warm summer nights.
Many tourists use this 7 km stretch of land as a passage to the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt or onwards to Petra in Jordan. However, if you stay, this glitzy destination provides relaxation all year round at its numerous luxury hotels and beaches. Coral Beach is the dive centre headquarters with its spectacular coral reefs.

Eilat is an amazing place to be in, there is always something to do, there are tourists visiting from all around the world all the time and the weather is sunny and breeze.
My advice to anyone visiting Eilat is not to spend all the time in the city but to book a trip to the nearby Timna National Park which aside of being a Geological Gem, houses the biblical Mines of King Solomon.
another great place to visit is Kibbutz Yotvata's Rehabilitation Safari where the National parks authority rehabilitates different endangered species native to Historical/Biblical Israel and re-interduces them back to the wild.
aside of that there's Kibbutz Neot Smadar which is home to one of Israel's largest Artist communities and of course, for Adrenaline junkies you can take a buggy/RZAR ride through the desert with a guide, or just go paragliding out in the sea
the choices never end in Eilat, and if there's one thing certain, is that you will want to come back again.

Very nice beach promenade, good for strolling around after dinner. Plenty of very nice hotels and restaurants around. There are a lot of trees and flowers in the city, one of these is the terminal park which is very close to the mall. The underwater observatory is a must-visit. We were blown away by it. You can see the mountains of four different countries from its rooftop. Spending a whole day there is recommended. The botanical garden is also pretty good, can be covered in an hour and a half with lots of nice photo opportunities. There are snorkeling etc. water activities, and a bird-watching park as well, but we did not get to visit those due to time constraints.

Eilat is growing exponentially.
Eilat is growing exponentially. It is located by the Red Sea, with Petra and the Jordan mountains next door. The mountains go from beige to purple and pink at sunset, a stunning view. The sea is warm and full of fish. People like the water sports there, though I like to lie by the pool. The weather is warm most of the year.

Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste.
Tacky place, full of shops and attractions in bad taste. Despite no VAT prices are high and the assortment in the shops is provincial. For decent beaches go South of Coral Beach or preferably to Taba Heights in Egypt.
Hotel amenities are just great. Rooms are very comfortable. If traveling with babies, they provide baby crib and food utensils. Also baby chairs are available at the dining room.
The food is amazing, if you are not from Israel you can get a great sense of their culture.
For coffee lovers, coffee from the barista is excellent.
The kids staff is very friendly. We met a Spanish speaking girl, Bar, who really made a difference for.my daughter. She is amazing!
Our stay at Flintstone was one of very few highligts of our trip to Israel. This is the place that we are going to remember and recommend to everyone. Natalia's and her family's hospitality is something rare, you feel like home away from home. She and her mom they are super friendly and kind. Even the smallest room was ok for 2 pax. If we are ever going to Come back to Eilat we will surely stay at their place.
For my purpose, a base for field visits where i require a comfortable place to work as well as a base of operations for 3-4 days, the hotel works for me. A comfortable bed, functional bathroom, large refrigerator and most important a desk.
the hotel looks like a hotel, it has 24 hour reception, a small nice lobby, even a small lap pool. The "finish" is not 5 star, but i don't expect this for the price i pay.
Nice hotel, beautiful reception area. The room was not so big, but enough. The bed was really comfortable and pillows were perfect. The curtains worked very well at night, there were no light going through them. Location is good, not on the beach sight, but about 5 minutes walk. They also provided beach towels for us. Although we did not use the pool, it looked very clean and had a comfortable lounge area.
We really liked the fact that the apartment is clean and since the facilities are new it makes for a great experience. Kitchen has everything you need, two bedrooms and a large shower, free parking in the back.
For anyone looking to stay in Eilat with a reasonable price this is a great place. You have to take care of your meals but that still would cost a lot less than staying in most hotels.
Excellent value for money - for a fair price you are getting basically a three bedroom unit which is excellent if you're coming with kids of different ages which can sleep in different rooms. We enjoyed it much more than the usual hotel room. The pool is excellent, and one of the best beaches in Eilat is a 5 minute walk away.
The staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The food was presented beautifully and was fresh and delicious. The chaises around the pool were cushioned and comfortable. The main pool was heated which was a big plus. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We’ve stayed at many hotels in Eilat…this is surely a favorite.
Sun Center Eilat hotel is a comfortable and convenient option for those looking to stay in Eilat. With a cozy room, easy access to the beach, nice coffee and snacks, and the unique addition of a grill and parking on the roof, it's definitely worth considering for anyone planning a visit to Eilat.
A great place to stay in Eilat, Amazing and luxurious unit with all the modern amenities we can find in hotels and the tranquility to relax and enjoy wonderful vacations. The host is always available and we will love to come back and send our friends as well to this lovely place.
Perfect location, spacious and comfortable room with delicious sweet and frute plates every morning, nice beach, exelent food, 5 stars service - many special thanks to Nofar Solovey for personal approach. We definitely recommend Herods Palace for stay in Eilat.
Definitely five star hotel with a great site right on the north beach of the city Eilat. The room was fantastic and had a wonderful view of the bay… Nothing but praise to say of the room or the other facilities of this great Hotel Chain in Israel.
Nothing... The images at booking don't reflect the reality. The hotel is very old. the front facade looks like hell. The coridors are not arirconditioned (40° C). The person at the reception was so rude and not polite.
The apartment is beautiful and very well maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped. The host is very nice. And the most important it is super clean. It was cleaner than most of 5 star hotels that I have been to.
The room was clean. It has kitchenette which I enjoyed. Strong enough AC. Nice shower. Comfy bed.
Very quiet. It is located on the other side of Eilat from all the hotels, which for me is a good thing.
The location is great.
The staff are so nice.
The breakfast is the best in all Israel, super diverse and tasty.
If you are planning to go to Eilat, do your self a favor and stay in this hotel
1. Nice price and location (especially if compare with other hotels in Eilat).
2. Large swimming pool, quiet lounge zone with libary and board games.
3. Various breakfast.
Very Clean, comfortable, good service. The hotel is very well maintained compare to other hotels in Eilat. Breakfast was superb and the pool area is beautiful
