I liked the room though a bit on the small side....doesn't need the sofa I think as takes up alot of space and faces the wardrobe so no benefit having it there really...better to have 2 sml armchairs facing window. What's good is it's proximity to beach and town, just a stone's throw away from everything.
Boasting an enviable location by the blue flag Ballybunion beach and the Atlantic Ocean, The Cliff House Hotel offers modern rooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking, a restaurant, and a bar.

From the minute we arrived the staff were exceptional. They are so assertive and friendly and on point with everything. The level of professionalism was astounding.
We really enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. Thank you 🙏
We love Kilrush!! Found this little town 7 years ago and we always visit when we travel to Ireland. 3 times now. There are so many things to see around the area, Kilkee Cliffs are beautiful along with the countryside. If you want a good sense of what Ireland is like this area has it all. Cliffs, country side, small towns, fantastic people, Central Shoe Store and Patrick's Men Shop are a must to shop in and great food! We will be back!! There is a great coffee shop in Kilkee up the road "The Pantry" wonderful morning goodies.

Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery...
Very enjoyable time here - loved our trip out to Scattery Island, would highly recommend. The Vandeleur walled garden is also worth a visit. With more time we would have explored more of the coastal areas in and around Kilrush.

The Scattery Island tour is a must! Great to boat over and walk the island, tour operators are very noce and friendly.
Kilrush downtown area itself is quaint and a number of spots to enjoy food and drink often outside. Very easy to shop for any items needed a short walk away, Great retreat for less hustle and less bustle.

Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush.
Off the beaten path, we all LOVED Kilrush. If you are looking for a true Irish village that few travelers visit, this is the place. It is quaint, and quite, but we had fun shopping and hanging with the locals at the pubs. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. We scored some good shopping without a tourist markup, since they do not get too many many, and ate great food. I would absolutely recommend staying in Kilrush and taking the Shannon Ferry to County Kerry for the shortcut route to Dingle. It is absolutely Charming and a step back in time.
This place is absolutely perfect for families. A wonderful host met us on arrival and explained everything. Large front garden with plenty of space to park, and a private entrance and garden area secluded away from the main house. The house had everything we needed for a family - travel cot, fully kitted kitchen, etc. The house was immaculately cleaned, lots of spare towels, sheets, etc. Beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable too.
Location is a great base for exploring Kilrush, Kilkee, Doonbeg, and the surrounding areas.
Very nice place to stay in the downtown of Kilrush. Nice staff and very welcoming. The room was eclectic with an old deco style. There is a pub below the rooms where you can enjoy some pints and a goog craic, and a nice menu to eat as well. The breakfast room is beautiful and with a very good variety to choose between many options: smoked salmon, full breakie, etc.
Beautiful boutique accommodation centrally located in Kilrush
Stunning breakfast cooked by the owner Gregg.
Fresh locally sourced ingredients cooked beautifully. Everything was homemade by Gregg the owner. We will definitely be back
Can’t wait to try Zoe’s Bistro!!
Very convenient location for Kilrush, the owner kindly left some supplies for us and allowed us check in early which was greatly appreciated. Despite being a small space it’s laid out very well with everything you could need
The owner of the place, Carmen is a lovely lady who help in whatever you need. She also runs the pub under the rooms. The location of the place is perfect for me, it is in the middle of Kilrush.
