The staff are amazing! the hospitality is impeccable. For example, we told the bar tender that our room was a bit hot and after we left the bar he came upstairs and brought us a fan. I doubt you would get this kind of service in the US.

The Lodge was an amazing experience. Embedded in nature, in harmony with the environment, and restful to mind and body, it was the best lodging experience in nearly 2 weeks traveling Ireland. Our yurt (Sundew) featured a view of Lough Mardal, the most comfortable bed, and a wood burning stove that made the space cozy. Furnishings and decor in the yurt and Lodge (with kitchen, dining and lounge areas) are exceptionally nice, and the Lodge itself a testament to building design and construction that preserve and emphasize nature. Guests will surely be delighted. Highly recommend.

Donegal is a beautiful area, rugged and less crowded in April. Would highly recommend this area, particularly to people who like walking/hiking opportunities. Slieve League is a must and Glenveagh castle and gardens, which are open, are charming. Other attractions in the area are worth a visit.

Amazing little town, nestled in the mountains on the banks of a v fast flowing river. Staff were ever so helpful, nothing was a problem. It was a v pleasant surprise to have access to the swimming pool next door. The castle across the street is v interesting and free to enter. We loved energy thing about this hotel and the live traditional music at night made for a very relaxing stay. Definitely recommend a visit😁

North west Donegal has spectacular beaches without any doubt. There are far too many houses built on land that has sea views, this has to be ignored by any visitors.
The Fanad peninsula was the best place, not as developed.

Donegal is one of the loveliest parts of Ireland and always worth a visit, from the wild countryside to Errigal mountain and the rugged coastline. The people are very friendly and welcoming. This was a short visit, but I have been before and stayed longer.

O' Donnell castle or Donegal castle was the highlight of our stay, plus a visit to Slieve League, as it was raining so much we just travelled around in the care, taking in the views as we could. Donegal is a great County to visit but you need the sunshine to see it at its best. If you visit Ireland, Donegal is a must place to go. Tara Hotel in Killybegs is the place to have your meals, great food great staff.
This is an exceptionally appointed hotel and located in silvan surroundings by Lough Eske a few miles outside the town of Donegal. The staff were most welcoming from the moment we walked through the door and could not have been more friendly and this includes all staff who bade us a 'good morning' whenever they passed inside or outside the hotel. The whole dining experience whether in the main restaurant or bar area was a delight. Servicing of our room was undertaken daily and most thoroughly.
Good quiet cosy little bungalow, with everything you need for a wee self catering break away ,warm and quiet with the option of having a real fire it suited us perfectly as we were attending the harvest rally and didn't want to be in a hotel in town as parking is a nightmare, we fitted two cars into our yard easily ,situated just off the n56 killybegs road it offers easy access to donegal town ,the fishing port of killybegs and a great base for touring donegal County,
We enjoyed our stay at Haywoods. The location was great; close to town. Beds were very comfortable. The host and hostess were delightful. They gave us great ideas on what to see and do during our stay in Donegal and we so enjoyed conversing with them. A very personable couple who accommodated our breakfast requests and offering us more food suggestions. The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
Stayed in Donegal Town as part of our Wild Atlantic Way trip. Thank god we booked this hotel as it’s the best place in the town by far. The restaurant in the hotel gave us our nicest meal of our whole trip and I will visit again just to eat there, waited on by a fabulous waitress called Jess. See ye soon.

The apartment is cozy, clean and charming. The location is perfect! Right in the center of the diamond, but still quiet and safe. Isabel is wonderful! She met us with the keys and filled us in on all the best places to eat and visit. We will book here again if we come back to Donegal Town!
Amy's place exceeded our expectations! Beautiful town home, recently redecorated, very comfortable beds, full kitchen, clean, great location in a cute County Donegal town. We had driven from Giant's Causeway and were heading to Slieve League. Great spot to stop!
Ros Dun is just a lovely place to stay. Very friendly hosts, a comfortable, sparkling clean B&B that's within an easy walk to Donegal Castle and downtown Donegal Town. Parking was very convenient, an important benefit since Donegal Town is a popular stop.
The convenience to the town of Donegal and the Mill Park Hotel where i attended a wedding.

The receptionist was very helpful.
The breakfast was fabulous.
I wil return soon
This hotel was exquisite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. This made our first visit to Donegal really pleasurable. Will definitely return for another visit and would recommend this hotel.🙌🙌
It was well located to Donegal town and surrounding area for sightseeing e.g. Killybegs, Slieve league, Glencolimcille, Ardara etc. close to Lidl and other food outlets. We had a room each, was quiet, clean.
My fiancé and I absolutely loved this B&B. Great location, short walk into Donegal Town. Beautiful accommodations, beds were very comfortable and the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend rather than staying in an overpriced hotel. The room was by far more superior than local hotels. I would chose to stay here again when we next visit Donegal town.
Very beautiful place, clean, Comfortable and not far from Donegal Town (+/-25min by car).
Thé owners are very helpful and lovely People!
We loved everything about this place!
Beautiful comfortable, clean, fresh home and so easy to get to Donegal town or surrounding areas, very central. Spoke with Ann on the phone and she is so lovely.
The property was clean and welcoming, and perfectly located for a trip to Donegal town and other points in northwest Ireland. I would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic value; rooms are perfect, staff is friendly, and food is amazing! Walk to Donegal Town is short and sweet. Would definitely stay again : ) Thank you!
