Wonderful hotel, staff and facilities, hotel room prices have become too expensive. Only fir it being a special occasion, regrettably we wouldn't have paid over 300 euro for 2 nights

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges. The staff were immensely friendly and helpful at the Waterford Castle Hotel when we checked in. The lodge accommodation is extremely spacious and has all the amenities you need for a very enjoyable stay, including spacious rooms, hair dryers, oven, fridge, indoor and outdoor seating areas and a microwave and toaster. We arrived with minimal supplies as we booked it quite late and there was instant coffee and milk in the fridge when we arrived. We grabbed takeaways from the clubhouse, which were great. The setting is absolutely beautiful with deer, birds, badgers, foxes and other wildlife including a wallaby. It was also quite thrilling having to use the ferry to get to the lodge.

A great house, great space. It was very comfortable, clean place to stay with everything you could need.
The location could not have been better, so much to do in the area. Being close to the hotel and leisure centre were an added bonus. The food in the hotel is excellent.

Location is perfect, proximity to major motorways to Cork and Dublin. 2 km a car ferry over to Passage East for access to Waterford and beyond. The village is charming, with unbeatable seaviews. The village is located in one of the most important historical parts of Ireland, nearby are the great Norman abbeys of Tintern and Dunbrody. It has easy access to golden beaches and small fishing villages, not to mention the Hook peninsula with the oldest functioning lighthouse in the world. On the peninsula itself is Loftus Hall, open to the public and reputedly the most haunted house in Ireland! The JFK Arboretum and homestead is also nearby and not to be missed - especially our American visitors.
It was the last B&B we stayed in during our 12-day tour in Ireland. It was looking back afterwards, simply the best. Large and comfortable room, clean and large bathroom. An old house with beautiful things that gave you an insight of it’s history. I loved the terrace in the morning, where you can have a coffee or morning thee with a view on the bay and cliffs of Arthurstown. And, with the best Irish cooked breakfast we had in these 12 days.
An outstanding Hotel – we so enjoyed our stay here even though we were only there for one day one day and a night. It's a very lovely country house with beautiful furnishings and we love the choice of formal dining with dishes inspired by the chef owner and the Oyster bar which was a little less formal The grounds are also very lovely
