The baech is far away. I saw no pool, like the one pictured in the ad above. There's nowhere, so far as I could tell, to sit out and lounge, like that picture infers. The beach wasn't visible and it was at least a 1/4 mile away. It was alright for me, thjough, because I wasn't interested in accessing the beach.

The hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location! Close to the beach and tons of shops and restaurants. The staff were always so helpful, kind and friendly which made the stay better. The rooms are big, comfortable beds and cleaned fairly well.

The location of the hotel was great. Beach was a 1min walk away. Top class restaurants within walking distance and a sports bar directly opposite the property. Can get alittle noisy at night due to the close proximity of a couple of very popular night clubs but overall was ok.

We really enjoyed the food options in Canggu. There are a lot of great restaurants.
However, it is not at all a place to relax. On the contrary: it is quite overwhelming. The streets are really busy, the beaches are packed and you can barely walk because there are hardly any sidewalks and millions of scooters flying past you.
Unfortunately there is a lot of trash on the beaches and just overall too many tourists.....
Sad to say we didn't enjoy it and probably won't be going back.

Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city.
Canggu is a bit of a digital nomad city. It's great for beaches, cafes, bars etc but not quite cultural Bali if that's what you're looking for. I felt like there were more tourists/foreigners residing here than there were local people. It caters to most needs and is very convenient. There are good gyms and other service facilities. It absolutely serves a purpose.

Great area with lots of great restaurants, cafes and shopping. Unfortunately the road is not direct so can take up to 40mins to get from one spot to the next. Most of the time the road in and out of Canggu is a traffic jam so moving around to other parts of Bali is not convenient.
Everything was really nice. Villa is amazing with great location, close access to the beach, also we can easily go to Atlas, Finn's club, Splash, Bounce, supermarket, restaurant.
Villa has spacious area with a large swimming pool, spacious yard and gazebo which make our relaxing time very comfortable.
The staff were incredible, they served us delicious breakfast every day and easy in communication.
Overall, me and my family were very enjoyed our stay and can be sure we will come back again in our next vacation!

Great location on one of the main streets in Canggu with all the nice restaurants, shops, cafes and only a few minutes walk away from the beach. Incredibly beautiful villa with so much space, own kitchen, drinking water machine, bathroom and separate toilet and of course the private pool. The breakfast was so diverse and so good, the best hotel breakfast we had in Bali! The team was so lovely and went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed.
Size of the property, quality of the amenities, interesting design… and super friendly staff! We had a great time at Desa Hay, the property is well located, close to the beach and a lot of restaurants. The service was perfect (incl. room service) and the staff was here for all our requests!
Kind of a Boutique Hotel, the privacy of Desa Hay and the warm design of their villas makes it a great place to stay in Canggu area.
Excellent place. I loved my villa right along the river. Peaceful and quiet. The staff is so friendly and helpful. And it’s an amazing value. They set me up with a scooter and airport transfer so easy. I came to Bali for 2 months last year and knew I wanted to stay in Pererenan. It’s 5 min to the beach and many great restaurants (Shelter, Woods, etc.) but away from the craziness of Canggu.
The location to surf, and the price cannot be matched. The breakfast menu included with the room had 4 choices and was above my expectations. Room was large and had great storage for clothes.
The hotel is a short walk to the beach which has a few spots for lunch & dinner. The beach breaks are only steps away and I found it a nice quiet part of Canggu. Great bang for the Rupiah!
The room and facilities were fantastic and we loved the vibe of the place.... they create a very relaxing environment. The cafe downstairs was great, we loved our meal there. Best included breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The pools were really nice too, we had a lovely swim. It's also VERY close to the beach, and a short walk from the main streets of Canggu.
We stayed here for a few days with our friends and absolutely loved it. The rooms were amazing, we spent most of our time around the pool which we loved and all the staff was so kind and helpful. We were in Bali for over a month and stayed at a number of hotels but this was definitely the best. Would recommend this to anyone travelling to Canggu.
I had a fantastic stay at the Slow and Kitchen Hotel in Canggu, Bali. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was very clean. The bed was amazing, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The hotel had a wonderful atmosphere and was located in a great spot. I highly recommend it for a memorable stay in Bali.
Brand new resort in canggu. From the warm and welcoming staff to the comfortable rooms and great service, everything about this hotel was awesome. Really nice surf atmosphere and great playlists in the lobby area. Friendly staff, always smiling and ready to help. Best breakfast that we have ever had in hotels of Bali! Not to mention the location which is walking distance to Echo beach, a good spa and a gelateria. Highly recommend!
My friends and I stayed at Villa Bliss for a week and absolutely loved it! The villa is beautiful and very spacious, and it’s in the best location of you want to be close to both Canggu and Seminyak! And the Finns passes were a great bonus. Would definitely recommend staying here!
