All staff I encountered greeted me & my group politely with a smile. Harris Hotel has an white and orange theme which makes it unique and quirky. The hotel sells many of it's amenities at very affordable price. During check out, I enquired regarding car transfer to nearby ferry terminal and it was provided complementary by the hotel. In addition, I missed two large bags of snacks in my room & the staff kindly sent it to me at the ferry terminal. So sweet of them! Hope the hotel management continue extra ordinary service to all guests.

there have nice massage places which is pretty affordable.
There lots of local food options and places to visit & also quite a few places with western food as well which are pretty nice to explore.
Cafes has been poping quite a bit in batam which are also a nice place to visit if you are looking for a good cup of coffee.
other than that they have very good seafood with very affordable price which are nice and tasty

Obviously because of the currency differences, taxi and meals were extremely better. but because of the cost of the ferry ride to and from Batam, it all comes to the same. Unless you're staying for 3 nights or more it wouldn't be worth it. Then again, there's really nothing much to see or do in Batam. Shopping isn't all that great.

Wonderful place for a short getaway. Quite a number of places to go to for massages. Value for money. Only real catch is private transportation - certain ride-hailing mobile app services might run into rivalries with local transportation practices.

Good affordable destination. Difficult to get things due to relatively low English speaking ability of workers in tourism industry including guide drivers hotel staff and staff at shopping malls. This to me an area to be improved to make Batam a more friendly tourist destination.
It is a brand new hotel. I booked a superior room. The hotel is a three star hotel, but deserves a four star.
+ the room is clean
+ the pillows, sheets, towels, are clean and fine
+ AC is cool
+ the area is close to the government center, ferry terminal, alfamart, and yongkee restaurant
+ it has bluebird taxis stand by
+ love the restaurant for breakfast at 11 floor, the view is amazing. Food is okay.
Not a minus because i dont swim. but the pool is quite small. The staffs are helpful.
+ Check in was easy. Property Host gave me a set of instructions about getting in via Whatsapp.
+ Room was okay. It's a studio apartment so probably it was the same about average hotel room. Enough for 2 person.
+ Everything was clean, bathroom, bed, kitchen was spotless. Towels and basic amenities were provided.
+ Location was really strategic, near to city center, but the apartment complex quite empty as it's practically new.
+ View was awesome. The room got a sea and city view.
The cleanliness of the apartment, the location is just beside batam center and facing the sea, so you can expect strong wind which is so relaxing.. staff yuni was very friendly and nice, answered all questions promptly.. we felt very welcome.. the room was spacious.. there is a swimming pool, gym and restaurant available.. if you will like to go for breakfast, you can just go to Harris Hotel just behind the apartment complex which is so convenient a 2 minute walk..
So nice and grand. The lady who attended to us, Fitrian. So friendly, kind and polite. Welcome drink was a bonus. Our rooms were facing the lake. Beautiful. Rooms are nice and comfy. Will definitely come again.

Convenient place in a convenient location about 15 minutes from batam center ferry terminal. Popular nasi padang place and major food brands beside the apartments and convenience store right below for your necessities. Great apartment with 2 separate toilets and bedrooms so no need to take turns.
Fully furnished with good furniture quality, clean and well maintained, shampoo/body wash/hand wash and dish soap provided, a handful of clean towels, working netflix and wifi, it's comparable to 4-star hotel room furnishing.
I did not have my breakfast there. The place is located near the town center and closed to Ferry Terminal. I find it convenient unfortunately you would require grab cycle or car to come out and roam around the city.
hotel location is very good right in the city and close to batam center.. the room was absolutly good and the facilities.. breakfast was fantastic. with some nusantara indonesia delicacy it is good
The breakfast spread is normal but thankful for tasteful fried noodles, bee hoon and porridge. But I hope the hotel can review its bread - even after it was toasted, the bread didnt taste nice.
