Clean rooms, helpful staff, very tasty breakfasts, impressive wellness zone - saunas, jacuzzi, spacious pool. However it could have been not so deep (1.5 m deep = no use for smaller children...). Parking available at site. Really enjoyed my stay. Convenient location close to the city centre.

I was there to see a band at Gyárkert, a venue in Veszprém.
I was there to see a band at Gyárkert, a venue in Veszprém. I explored the old town a bit but, at most, it should only take you 2 hours to get through the whole thing. Balaton Plaza was a disappointment and only had a few stores.
I would recommend staying in Veszprém for two days at most.

Great "station" for visiting Balaton and countryside. Historical center is small but very nice. Near the city is a lot of former military bases (Soviet, Austrian-Hungary) and also fine hills for hiking (not many in Hungary).

We were staying very close to the main market square where you can visit museums, churches and basilica. There is also beautiful panorama when you go towards those sights. You can get everywhere on foot which is also a plus. In september it is difficult to find restaurant opened longer than 10pm. We would definietely recommend Irish pub (opened longer) close to market square. Good food and very nice service also English speaking waiter.
Our accommodation was comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. The Nosztalgia restaurant, which was right next to the hotel had a high level of quality and delicious food. Wellness was accessible by lift so we get there in comfort of our bathrobe. Swimming pool, hot tub and saunas guaranteed us maximum relaxation and enjoyment. The staff was nice and helpful, the minibar in the room was replenished every day, cleaning service every day while we are having breakfast.Thank you so much Villa Medici !
Very stylish, cozy and sustainable apartment. Perfect for travelling alone or for 2 persons. It is located close to a bus stop from where you can reach the city center and the train station. Exceptionally clean and comfy. For me it was important to be able to have a self check in late in the evening , I was happy this was provided. I booked it twice and I would probably look for it again if I went back to Veszprém. The communication with the owners was also fast and efficient, thanks for that: )

-The beds have curtains for privacy, and there is a wooden board as a nightstand, with an individual lamp.

Wonderful apartment with spacious and clean rooms, lovely terrace, located in the beautifully renovated old Hungarian country side house. House is in surrounded by orchard and there is a nice place for barbecue or just chilling on garden swing or nets. Very friendly and helping host, providing useful tips about restaurants and places to see in the area ( bottle of rose wine waited for us on arrival). Great base to explore Veszprem and Balaton lake area.
The apartment is in the city center, and still very quiet, with very comfortable parking possibility. Superclean and with very sophisticated design, fully equipped with high quality. Easy to collect the keys, easy to get in to the building and the aparment. Host was always available, responsive but luckily not over controlling. Perfect!
No doubt that I will book Smaragd for my next visit to Veszprém.

Very central location in Veszprém's iconic building. Comfy and well equipped. Emi - our host - was there in no time to fix the few minor issues we had. She made sure we knew how to get around, recommended places, etc. The flat has access to a parking house just a short walk away. Check in and check out was quick and easy. View to Kossuth Street, the town's walking street. We had a truly lovely stay.
Hotel located in the foot of the castle hill, close to the small river. The train station is 3 km far away, what can be done in 45 minutes walking. Close to the hotel there is 1 restaurant with terrace but you can reach the city center in 10 minutes walking where you can find more restaurants and shops and the monuments. The room was good quiet and comfortable. Wifi good, breakfast good, nice staff.
The Èllõ Panzió is a gracious, lovely bed-and-breskfast place surrounded by fir trees and within short walking distance of downtown Veszprém. I came to veszprém for a concert, which was just 5-10 minutes away by foot. The check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff helpful and welcoming. I look forward to staying here again.
Super clean apartment right in the heart of Veszprem. Fully equipped, providing everything we needed as a family of 4. Excellent position not only for walks in Veszprem, but also as a starting point if you want to explore Veszprem area and west coast of Balaton lake. Very much recommended !
The hotel was picked by my son and my husband and I told him, he did an excellent job. The food at the restaurant was fantastic!!! My only issue was the stairs to go up and down with the luggage. Otherwise, the hotel is very comfortable, clean, staff is very attentive and nice.

It's clean and at a very good location, in a walking distance to the main attractions in Veszprem. What I really liked was the insulation. I never heard a thing between rooms. The rooms are also "next level" with regards to facilities inside the room (i.e. kitchen, extra bed).
I really liked that the hotel is in a valley. The spa area is very well equipped. The staff is kind and helpful. There was a very large selection at the breakfast buffet. Dinner was also very delicious. The rooms are very quiet.
Hotel is in quiet area, but very close to center. Bed was verry comfortable! we only stayed for 1 day, but i would recommend this hotel for families with children.
The place is beautiful, close to the city center and the staff is very friendly and charming. Will be back soon, Veszprem is amazing, a real good feel town..
