Everything was clean and it was very comfortable to stay there. Breakfast was good and when i said, i will not be there at breakfast at my first day, they prepared meal box for me at 6 a.m. Thank you so much again. They were very helpful and they gave detail responses to my questions. Hotel also has private beach, it is a plus.

It's nice complex on the end of the dead end street on a hill so from each room you can see the lake Balaton. Our room was quite big with comfy beds and the morning lights coming in, which was nice (there are blankets if you want to sleep till noon:-) Women in the reception was very nice and helpful. We rented a bike and went around, to the center of Tihany it is 10min max, lake Belso 5min. (There are plenty of small funny animals groundhog and huge cows)
Breakfast was normal, nothing special, chees, ham, bread, yougurt...normal.
There is indoor pool with the outside area for sitting.
In the Tihany Peninsula and 200 metres from the shore of Lake Balaton, Balcsi Panzió offers rooms with cable TV. Table tennis can be played on site, and bikes can be rented.

Beautiful excursion place - Hungarian Provence. I recommend visiting outside the main tourist season. The prices are higher, but the place offers an excellent starting point for walking, cycling or car tourism around Lake Balaton.

The town is small and quiet-ish.
The town is small and quiet-ish. There are some nice hikes worth taking, especially at sunset. (check the Guard Tower Area and the )
Not sure if it's all year round, but in September many of the restaurants and terraces were closing at 18:00 local time.
You can take the long route north to get to Tihany, but the ferry is faster and not that expensive (in 2023 about 10 EUR for 1 car + 1 person).

It is a little town but you can entertain yourself for 2-3 days easily. Many restaurants with a great food offers. All is about lavender products: soaps, perfumes, beer, ice cream... Very interesting.
Kecskeköröm Csárda with live traditional music, Tihany Retro Pizzeria, Lavender Garden Tihany and Gulyás udvar Étterem are restaurants to recommend.
Kilometers of cycling trails. A bigger town, Balatonfured, just 5 kilometers away so if you need more fun go there.

Access to the village without a car is a little awkward although during 0900 to 1800 a motorised train with about six small carriages operates at about 20 minute intervals.
There are a number of souvenir type shops and lavender and lavendula is in abundance.

A town with a character, a small gem. There is a good variety of activities, cultural events, sights and a lot of good food. It is also a souvenir heaven! Lavender in every shape, form and amount, galleries, history, walks, hikes, horses, sheep and cattle, olden days artefacts, good food and a lot of it, kind people.

Beautiful old village, full of character, fantastic views. Easy to cykle along the lake.The place is famous for lavender, one must try local food, e.g. lavender ice cream, goulash, local beer or wine. There is an old Abbey on the top of the hill, not so far local wineyards. Above all people are so friendly and relaxed.
We've had such an amazing time at Villa Botostyan. The location is absolutely fantastic. Close to Rege coffee and Echo restaurant which I would recommend visiting. Parking is good at the property. Property was very clean and quiet. Hosts were absolutely lovely, chatty and helpful. The breakfast was so delicious in comparison to other 4 hotels we stayed at. Will definitely be back. Don't forget to visit Balaton, lavender field and do some karting. See you again soon 😊❤️
The yacht club is on the shore of the lake. It's easy to get to a bathing spot. It has a large garden with grass and some places to play different games. It has parking space inside the courtyard, and the car is safe. The rooms are clean but weren't renovated in a while.
We stayed in the room with bathtub and I was going to take a bath with some lavender products from Tihany but I did not manage to do this. I definitely recommend this for future guests. Also, the breakfast was really good. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs.
We were on a 3 days trip to Tihany and stayed and Viktoria Inn and it was really nice. The host was really helpful with information. The facilities meet our expectations and the room was interesting and comfortable for a couple. I would recommend.

Nice clean apartment, great facilities for self catering, right in the middle of Tihany for restaurants, shops and stunning views, nice courtyard for sitting in, lovely thatched roof, friendly neighbours running the souvenir shop.
The place is beautiful and in a calm part of the city Tihány. The breakfast was perfect...the terrace is great for evening chat with wine which you can buy at the reception. We will come back as soon as possible :-)

Everything was on point, but what really made my stay exceptional was the staff of the hotel, they are beyond nice and welcoming. I stronly recommend this hotel, you won't regret it, I promise!
