The Casablanca Panzió is situated on the perfect spot- beautiful Tata lake and lots of nature around. It is super easy to reach from Budapest. The team is great and they responded to all our asks without hesitation. The rooms on 1st floor have big terraces overlooking the lake and it is a really zen environment.
There are great places around (walking-distance) to drink coffee, have lunch, eat deserts and have dinner.
The city is quite tranquil and beautiful. Both the Eszterházy manor and the castle were great to visit, plus there are two scenic lakes with park areas to stroll through,
Platán Bistro was a great lunch experience, with awesome food and desserts to die for. Go with the Salted Caramel and Apricot Tart, you'll not regret it.

Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do.
Tata is a beautiful town with lots to see and do. The Old Lake is beautiful with a walking trail that goes around it. The boardwalk around the lake has restaurants, pubs and ice cream shops. It has a very relaxed feel about it and is the kind of place that makes you just want to relax and take in all of the beauty around you. The nearby English Garden is also well worth the walk from the Tata castle area. It too has a large lake with many walking trails around it.

Nice nature, around the big lake, and especially around the smaller lake! It has a beautiful nature reserve, with some artificial ruins.
The restaurant Platan, on the big lake, was amazing. We had very high quality food, while taking in the amazing view.

The location in Tata where we stayed was right accross the lake and this lake is so wonderful that it justifies a stay in Tata togehter with the fact that it is a very good starting point for exploring the area.

Tata is a lovely town, with lovely people living here.
Tata is a lovely town, with lovely people living here. The town itself is built around the Old lake, Little coffee shops are hidden inside the castle, and the gates are open all the time (exept the Patara and other festivals), You can cycle around this lake for 7.5 km. Few minutes away there is another hidden gem of Tata: Cseke tó and The English park with some interesting details
The little Dotto train will take you around to show most of this beautiful town.
We fall in love with this town and we are going to live here.

Beautiful lakes and sights. Lots of places for hiking, walking or renting a SUP and watching the sunset from the middle of the old lake of Tata. Really nice place to visit if you love nature and walking.
We stayed at the hotel with our family for one day, and so far, it was the cleanest place we have ever been to. It's clean everywhere, and even the bedding had a lovely scent; we haven't experienced this anywhere else. Breakfast is available for an additional fee, but it's worth it for the flavors and variety, although there could be a slightly wider selection of fruits. 5 stars.
Every single thing was amazing. The style of the house and room was super cute and cozy and everything was extremely clean and smelled good. The hosts were very friendly and Tata itself is also a really nice little city. Overall it was just a great experience to stay here and I'd love to come back.
The hotel is cute with vintage objects and lot of paintings. Our room had a balcony, mini refrigerator, water boiler and microwave.
The location at the entry of the English garden was quiet. We could use bikes for free to explore the town and drive around the lake. The staff was friendly.
I was travelling with motorbike and late night a had to rest, had a look for a room and choose this hotel. - I arrived 22:00 slept well. Secured parking was included. Breakfast was fine. Curtains and shutters in the room, perfect! - Extremly quiet. - I would stop again!
The equipment of the house included everything you need for a quiet weekend.
Nearby is the city of Tata. You can be there by bike in a moment. The owner has a few bikes in the accommodation. The condition of the bikes is fine.

Very nice and quiet hotel to stay. Located between the two lakes of Tata. The fridge in the room comes handy in hot summer days. A supermarket is a five minute walk away. Nice staff, good breakfast. Tata is really beautiful place in Hungary that's worth to visit.
Very nive room, comfortable beds, attention to detail. The terrace overlooking the lake is great. Due to a car problem we had to stay in Tata so we booked at the last moment and we were warmly welcomed even after reception hours. It is worth stopping in Tata!

We had a close up view of the lake. There was a walking path next to the hotel that went along the lake and had wonderful restaurants. The room was spacious and had a heating rack so we could wash and dry our clothes
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is marvellous. The hotel is located in a calm environment and the wellness section is absolutely well-equipped, modern and clean.
