The scenery, nature, silence! Starry sky that I have never seen before! Very nice, friendly and welcoming hosts. The breakfast was amazing too. Very nice place to stay with the baby also. 👶🏼 ❤️ I really enjoyed being there.

The Villa Hotel basically consists of the second floor of a restaurant in the middle of the park. It is a bit old-fashioned in an exceptionally charming way and seems a bit like "grandmothers living room" in the best sense. In other words: expect a bit "cozy/plushy", and not "modern design"-y. Staff is wonderful and helpful, breakfast buffet is good and offers all that one would expect from a four-star hotel. Definitely an excellent option when living in Debrecen, be it for leasure (thermal spa "across the street", city center 10min by tram), or if you visit the university. A detail that I really appreciated: the hotel left another key card in the electricity switch, which allowed for leaving aircondition on, if necessary, even when leaving the room. Given that the rooms are directly under the roof, this is a real incentive on hot summer days.
