Everything was amazing, perfect for families, the pool was very clean and heated, the rooms were really big, the kitchen had everything to prepare breakfast/dinner, and the house had 3 bathrooms equipped with toiletries.
We were expected with an ice-cold champagne and a box of coffee for the coffee machine.
The owner speaks very good english and it's an amazing lady who asked us every day if we needed something.

The Villa Hotel basically consists of the second floor of a restaurant in the middle of the park. It is a bit old-fashioned in an exceptionally charming way and seems a bit like "grandmothers living room" in the best sense. In other words: expect a bit "cozy/plushy", and not "modern design"-y. Staff is wonderful and helpful, breakfast buffet is good and offers all that one would expect from a four-star hotel. Definitely an excellent option when living in Debrecen, be it for leasure (thermal spa "across the street", city center 10min by tram), or if you visit the university. A detail that I really appreciated: the hotel left another key card in the electricity switch, which allowed for leaving aircondition on, if necessary, even when leaving the room. Given that the rooms are directly under the roof, this is a real incentive on hot summer days.
