While the property is remote, quiet, and beautiful, the actual palace is in need of work. The room we had was not what I reserved and the room we got had significant water damage. This facility could be spectacular with some work.

Location very close to city center, free parking (the last day we left the car there with the luggage and came later), it was clean, very nice staff, very good breakfast, very-very quick answers on chat/email. The hotel was under renovation (no disruptions, all fine) so it will get better (i hope).

Csor is a very small village near the city to the east- Szekesfehervar (very charming old town). Csor is very rural with fields and bales of hay as part of the landscape. You need a car to get to the nearest city or town. To the west of Csor is a small town called Varpalota which has a traditional restaurant called Kastelydomb Kavezo- very tasty traditional food and good service. We wanted to stay in a rural area near the city so it was exactly what we were looking for.
