Great location, beautiful view from the wellness and from the room's terrace (room with lake view). We were in a family room and we were surprised that in both of the rooms were television and a separated terrace with table and chairs, our kids really loved it. The room was quite big, the beds were comfortable. Bu The pools and the wellness were almost empty in the morning, we could relax and enjoy the fabolous view of lake Balaton. The price and the value is great, the breakfast is very good with a lot of option to choose.

Great area to stay around however if you don't know...
Great area to stay around however if you don't know Hungarian or German you can struggle with communication as English is rather not recognised as a spoken language there. It's really hard to communicate with the locals in English. However that wasn't a massive issue as there are always other ways to communicate :).
All in all very good and quiet location. Fully recommended.
- the host was there at the resort and he greeted us; he also gave us a quick tour of the location plus some extra tips for restaurants nearby
- in the mini-fridge we had free snacks and beverages
- the room comes with some free amenities provided by the hotel (e.g. sauna, pool, jacuzzi)
- the location is just perfect nearby the forest
- it is very peaceful and quiet yet you can still have some fun at the hotel's pool but also at the lake (free beach access 15 minutes away, by foot).
A comfortable cottage. It has a large yard (garden grill and jacuzzi). A free, small beach is within walking distance (10-15 min). Balatonszarszó is small and quiet, but there is everything you need (shops, restaurants, souvenirs). Balaton lake is warm and perfect for swimming :)
The owners live in the neighborhood and they are very nice and helpful.
It was a perfect place to stay in Balatonszarszo. We had everything we need! Thank you for your hospitality, even we arrived late at night it wasn't a problem for you to give us a key. In our dutch house we had everything - coffee maker, pots, frying pan, air condition. Our kids had a lot of fun using games - which are available for free.
Although it’s 15-20mins walk from the centre of Balatonszarszo it’s very close to two of the free beaches. The train is running past every now and then but only can hear it if you’re outside. the garden area is superb for families. (basketball plank, table tennis, swings all forest style)
