Very nice hotel, way nicer than on the photos. Great pool for our 2 little kids (1 and 3 years old). Very friendly and helpful staff. We had booked 1 night and ended up staying for 5 in total, would definitely go back!

Sadly the city does not think about those who are not using car or bicycle. There are almost zero public transport including taxi in the city in summer. Basically we were stack on the place where we leave. Thank God at least the Balaton was in 2 minutes.

It’s overpriced but decent.
It’s overpriced but decent. The food on the public beach is sub-standard, but this is the norm in Hungary. Don’t go looking for vegan options or salads, they don’t consider them food.
There’s good infrastructure for kids and for biking. Quite fun for a few days.
The apartment is really close up to the hill from Balatonfűzfő train station. It's an annex to the main building where the owner lives(I guess). Everything was clean even though it's more like hut/cabin then apartment. The owner was really nice and tried to speak as much English as possible. The comfort match the price.
