Lovely town with lots of flowers and trees, very clean, tidy and safe even in the evening. Not loud even in the evening was very quiet near the beach. Preferred Kisfaludy beach (strand). Less crowded and a bit cheaper, also more facilities and better quality/selection of food. Borcsa restaurant has great food and service.

Nice place, you have a lot of restaurants, hotels on all levels starting from street food up until fine dining and top hotels next to the lake. Also shopping is quite fine and you have a great set of activities as well you can do. Hiking and other activities are also possible. Great holiday and weekend getaway location.

Great location to also visit other place on the north side...
Great location to also visit other place on the north side of the lake. We visited Veszprem, Tihany, Heviz, and Keszthely. Lots of beaches close by, our kids really liked Csopak strand and Alsóörs. Balatonfured itself is great for the walk along the boardwalk with all the stalls selling stuff and the tour boat rides in the evening.

The perfect place to visit lake Balaton with your family. The nightlife is not as other parts of Balaton, like for example Siofok, but it is perfect if you vacation with your children and want a calm, safe and relaxing environment friendly for children.

Unforgettable XIX century atmosphere with good Hungarian fish, pork and cow food. Taste the Bagameri icecream, it is the best icecream next to the Lake. If you want to learn and do sailing on the lake Balatonfüred is the perfect location.
Room had a beautiful position, very quiet with just the bird song from the garden and a view of the lake.
The hosts were very kind and helpful.
Supermarket is just 2-3 min walk away, and the beach is 15 minute walk down the hill. There is a paid parking lot near the beach so you can also go by car if you prefer.
The town is beautiful, with very nice beach and a long promenade with lots of shops and restaurants. Really perfect place for a family vacation.

The house has gone through a thorough process of restoration and there is an album available at the restaurant where you can see the before and after.
The apartments were in the heart of Füred. Both are well equipped. Very clean. Only 10-15mins walk from the beach. Surrounded by restaurants and coffee shops.
A Penny shop is around in 10mins walking distance.
The train station is 20mins walking.
The apartments have parking spaces in the garage underneath of the building.
The balcony in the lake view apartment is absolutely fantastic.
Very clean, beautiful rooms. The host is helpful, kind and responsive. She arranged us accomodation for an extra night even though they were very busy and fully booked.
The guesthouse is in the best area possible. We were able to park the car at another hotel's garage just across the street as the guesthouse has no parking. Great restaurants and breakfast place next door.
Very friendly host who is always helpful, great location and clean room!! There are towels, TV, coffee, Wi-Fi and everything for comfortable stay. The price matches the quality! Just simply excellent the hotel well deserves the 5 stars rating, everything is clean, nicely organized, room is quiet, I was especially enlightened with the heated pools the water has nice warm temperature during the whole day, breakfast is great, staff is friendly. I enjoyed the free champagne testing the afternoon :)
Rooms, as well as toilets are really clean. Everything is very well taken care of. Owners are extremely nice and helpful, they do their best to make you feel like at home. Rooms are air-conditioned, which gives huge relief during hot days. If we go to Balatonfüred again, we will surely book this house too.
It offers everything you’d expect from a 4 star hotel. Our room overlooked the marina and had a large terrace which unfortunately could not be enjoyed because of the weather. Also be warned that in the low season there are only 2-3 dining choices available in town with last orders at 19:30.
Very good location in the very centre of Balatonfured, nice old quaint building, quite easily accesible. ok breakfast, very good warm- dishes menu with omelets, sausages, porridge, cold selection limited. Nice quiet pool area. Wellness open during the day with sauna and infrasuana.

Friendly staff, close to beaches and Tagore Promenade, calm balcony with view to the nearby park, closed parking lot, clean room and common areas, air-conditioned. It was a pleasant stay overall.
