Their two sweet dogs tops the chart if i have to answer what i liked most. The property was beautiful and spacious. The host was very kind and generous. She even prepared and arranged the barbeque place when we asked her about it. Rooms were spacious and clean.

I visited and stayed 3 nights in this small village in late...
I visited and stayed 3 nights in this small village in late May, so place seems to me quiet and unactive. I did not see any shop or restorant in vicinity (at least in latter hours). I rode a bicycle for two days arond Balaton lake, making a full cycle. That was really wonderful. There's a lot of crowded, fancy and expensive places around the lake, but I stayd in Baltonbereny (in a modern app) for tranquility and acceptable price.
There's a lot of prettier villages around, but for a purpose I been there, Balatonbereny is just right.

Great location for older turists who would like to avoid big crowds of drunk, loud people and screaming children and spend some time in the vicinity of Balaton in a silent and green area. We loved this place.

We simply LOVED everything. Big apartment with a spacious kitchen/living room and two big sleeping rooms. Very well equipped, very clean. Private, secure parking place. Very silent and safe neighborhood. Two well supplied shops 1 min from the apartment. Train stop also 1 min away. A superb beach 3 mins away. Owners speak English ! 100% recommended ! THANK YOU :-)
The Guesthouse/pension was in a quiet quarter of Balatonberény, not far to the beach of the lake Balaton.
A former socialist youth hostel refurbished to the pension. The rooms are well equipped: TV, air condition, fridge, ...
Possibility of swimming in the own pool with warm and clean water was perfect!
I liker the owner nice and friendly , talkative , good place to rest and have a nice breakfast in the table morning .
Great place to relax and also everything very close, shops , beach etc
