Pajapita is a small and fairly central area. There are no large stores (Walmart, etc.) but there is a decent-sized grocery store in the center of town, and also some cute restaurants. We ate at Pizza Venecia and really enjoyed their variety of food choices and the tastiness of the meal. We took a day trip to the Quetzal Reserve to the east and, while we didn't see any Quetzals, really loved spending quiet time hiking in the cloud forest.
