Villa Socrates is a very good place to stay if you prefer more peaceful side of the island. There is a nice little garden and nice view over the valley from the house. We were travelling with three children and it had plenty of room for all of us, and it was equipped both with a washing machine and a dishwasher. Parking is very convenient. Gardenos beach is within 10-minute walk distance so that even our 4-year-olds were able to walk there and back. Internet connection is excellent (127 / 8.5 Mbps). Since we had a car, it was not a problem for us that grocery stores were further away.

I cannot thank enough the hosts of the hotel. Naomi, Rania and the night shift receptionist are the most welcoming people. They are so friendly and do everything possible to accommodate your needs. Thank you girls, you were amazing! The hotel is located in a very quiet area but not far from the beach and Kavos centre. The hotel itself is spotless clean. The pool is beautiful and very well maintained. The gardens are just like paradise. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here and will definitely be back!

Perfectly situated on the beach away from the Kavos strip. It wasn’t noisy and we were able to sleep comfortably at night. All the staff are super friendly and go out of there way to accommodate you. The rooms were great with a small kitchenette and shower room. The beds were comfy and the room had a tv ( for the rainy days ). The pool was cleaned daily by stavros himself. The stavros is very clean, the rooms and the pool area are kept to a high standard. This family run business is one of the best I have stayed at in a long time. I will definitely be booking again.

We had to leave another accommodation a day early after a bad experience and we were lucky to get a room here. It was so relaxing from the moment we arrived. The owner was so welcoming and we had a great room with a sea view. We relaxed all day by the pool and drank cocktails and didn’t have to worry about settling the bill until we left. We had lunch and the food was delicious and then we went back to the pool and relaxed! 🍸We were welcomed back by staff after spending a few hours walking around the village in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and just the whole experience was really relaxing and welcoming
