The food, weather, culture and people are all very nice.
The food, weather, culture and people are all very nice. The parking availability is not great. Easy to get around especially if you have a car which I would recommend, just try to pre-plan your parking or get some advice from your host.

We loved walking the old cobblestone streets with all alleyways, shops, restaurants, bars, & historical sites. It is easy to get around Rhodes Town, but it does take some getting used to. I would seek out restaurants that don't have hawkers calling out to all passersby. There are plenty of restaurants and bars that do not use this tactic.

The old town is really beautiful, and the new town is very pleasant as well. The down side is the thousands of visitors, so that the whole centre is totally touristy and it takes some searching to find cafes, restaurants and bars which are more relaxed. We stayed only two days before getting the ferry to Xalki, which was ideal for getting the flavour of the town.

Great Medieval town with a touch of Ancient Bysantine and Ottoman atmosphere. Probably the best medieval walls and moat you can visit in Southern Europe. Lots of restaurants in the Old Town and small craft shops. Beware the public buses to and from the airport - this is a nightmare of throngs trying to get on or off board with suitcases in the smallest buses without air-conditioning, while the driver chooses on whim whether to stop or not at the stops on the way. Take a taxi, their prices are fixed and quite acceptable.

Rhodes Town has some outstanding places to visit - the Jewish Museum and memorial; the Museum of Modern Art; the Aquarium; the Plaace of the Grand Master of the Knights Hospitallers; the Archaeological Museum. Wandering the streets of the Old Town is pretty mesmerising. Virtually every restaurant we visited - and we went to many - had wonderful Greek cuisine.
We stayed in the Old Town and went to the beach most days (the main beach area was about a 25 minute walk, which was fine to do in early June, provided one had hats, water and took advantage of shade en route. We also sometimes stopped in a cafe for a drink en route. The water in the sea in early June was the best I have encountered in my life. Heaven!

Great monuments, charming narrow streets, lots of flowers, excellent cuisine. But it's best to enjoy it all in the morning, before the crowds flood the streets, or late in the evening. In the city, I was most impressed by the Palace of the Grand Masters and a walk along the former moat between the walls.
Eleni Rooms is an excellent choice if you want to enjoy the old city of Rhodes. The property is on a quiet side street near all the sights of the city, but without all the noise. The room was very comfortable with a private balcony, nice bathroom, and mini-fridge. Breakfasts are made to order and delicious and served on the shared terraces, which have a wonderful view over the city rooftops. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. There is ample free parking within a short walk of the property if you have a rental car.
Everything !!! Do yourself a favor and book this hotel for your next trip to Rhodes. We enjoyed our stay so much and truly felt like royalty. The staff went above and beyond to make the perfect stay for us - the checked us in earlier, greeted us with champagne, always with a smile and top service. The breakfast is unbelievably tasty and luxurious, the design and architecture is breathtaking and the view of the sea made us grateful everyday for being alive. 10/10 oh, and the beach and the best beach bars are 30 sec walk
We stayed here for 3 nights after a long stay in a villa soth of Rhodes and will stay again when we come back from Symi. This boutique hotel is a gem! We stayed in Temple of Apollo suite which makes you feel you are living inside a temple. What a perfect name for the suite! The staff made us feel like home by giving a warm welcome and aswering all of our questions about Rhodes city. We give a 5 start to the breakfast. Do not forget to try Vaso's omelettes!! We will be back to give another 10/10. Well deserved.
How nice, attentive and helpful the staff were.
We were able to leave our bags after check out, and come back and shower before catching our flight, at no extra cost.
Breakfast was very good value for money (we had this included in our room rate) and included a juice, coffee and item off the menu.
Nice sized airy room, with lovely sea view from balcony and within a 10 minute walk to Old Town and Rhodes Town and less than 5 to the beach.
Lovely hotel, would stay again if I ever came back to Rhodes.
Great host! George not only told us about where to park the car. He even held a parking spot for us with his scooter! He then carried our luggages on the scooter to the house.
The room is very beautifully and uniquely decorated. It matches the knight island. It has everything you would need for home. Bed is the most comfortable one I have slept on during my 14-day trip at Greece. We wish we could stay longer!
It will be one of our most memorable stay. Thank you for your hospitality George!
Splashed out on one of the penthouse rooms - lucky that we had a sea view rather than town view and also the best orientation for all day sun (ask for room 702!). The spa bath was lovely (staff have to fill and empty it). The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good with masses of choice and for such a big hotel was well organised. The hotel is perfectly situated - beach, town centre and the old walled city are all walkable.
The hotel is really nice, well placed and cosy.
The rooms are spacious and clean, well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast is very good, fresh and abundant.
The hotel is 3 minutes walking to the centre, but far enough from the noisy nightlife of Rhodes Town for a peaceful sleep.
Elly welcomes you with a very big and warm smile, and she gives you very insightful suggestions to visit and really enjoy the town.
I definitely recommend this hotel!!
Excellent location at the Northern tip of Rhodes Town with access to the beaches on the Western (windy) and Eastern (more calm) sides of the island. Also, the hotel has a reasonable sized pool with a large area for sunbeds unlike many hotels in Rhodes Town. There is also a bar and restaurant at the pool.
The sea and sunset views from the rooms are fantastic. The superior rooms on the top floors are renovated.
Hotel is located heart of the Rhodes. Old town is 10-15 minutes walking. The rooms have very large size and an amazing Interior design. The comfort of the bed and sofa was top. The balcony is offering great time as well if you want to drink your coffee or wine. We enjoyed a luxury accommodation at a reasonable price. I thank the owner Alex for this visionary hotel.
The hotel was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Always very accommodating. Very good selection of meals in the restaurant buffet. Excellent WiFi coverage throughout the hotel. Excellent location in Rhodes town. In a short walking distance to the beach, restaurants/bars Old Town and harbour for boat tours.
Excellent location in the centre of Rhodes Town. The hotel was extremely clean and well presented. It has a very nice and inviting bar area with very efficient and friendly staff. The room was very clean with a large comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities were also available in the room.
A very good breakfast with a big choice of hot and cold food.
Location is awesome, a rooftop restaurateur with the best view of the old city. Minos and Patricia were gracious and accommodating. Food and drink availability is so convenient when you are tired from a day of walking. As the hotel was not full, we were upgraded at no additional fee, to a suite of two rooms. So peaceful, we slept with the windows open.
This is our second time staying at the Mediterranean Hotel.
For us, it is the best place to stay in Rhodes Town.
It is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and attentive staff.
The hotel is in a great location - right next to Eli beach and a ten minute walk to the old town.
It is impeccably clean. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is so delicious.
Lovely no frills hotel near the historic centre of Rhodes and near to shops and good restaurants.Breakfast was good with lots of choice.Room was small but i had balcony which gave more space.Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very good value for money for its location in centre of Rhodes town
Beautiful boutique hotel perfectly situated in Old Rhodes town. Katerina and her family were genuinely welcoming, provided fabulous breakfasts and were a wealth of knowledge regarding restaurants, sights and shopping. Just fantastic good old fashioned hospitality.
Hidden gem boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. The decor of the rooms, the serene courtyard and absolutely best staff make this hotel a must stay. Georgia was the best host that you could ever hope for. I can’t rate this place highly enough.
a little cozy hotel in the centre of old city with a lovely yard that you can eat your delicious homemade breakfast! the staff were really polite and helpful! and they carry your bags with their little golf car!
This delightful hotel inside old Rhodes Town is a 15+. The hosts are unbelievably helpful and attentive. Beautiful rooms and gardens and special treats too. You will love your stay.
A very nice small family hotel in a quiet alley just off the main hustle and bustle of the old town of Rhodes, with a good AC and a small balcony with a view on the old town walls.
Beautiful ancient building in amazing old town on Rhodes.
Manager very helpful on hotel matters as well as on Rhodes in general. More than call of duty.
