Very very dirty beaches, crowded beaches covered with sunbeds without the possibility of free access. Sun Fish Tiki bar on the beach is the dirtiest of all, garbage literally piles up between the sunbeds
Plus: sea water, food, beach bars (Cocones), tavernas (La Flegra, George, En Plo).
Minus: narrow beach, crowded (in july), damaged ugly pavement on some streets.
Tip: for weekend make reservation for sunbeds the day before.
Avoid: July.

Polychrono is a lovely village with one of the nicest promenades in halkidiki, with a great variety of places to eat and drink - many with tables on the beach itself. Lovely atmosphere - relaxed and friendly. Great for families and couples who enjoy spending their evenings walking the promenade, a nice meal and chilling with a drink or two in beautifully decorated bars.
Much better beaches to be had in halkidiki, but polychrono beach is typical of many town beaches in halkidiki. You definitely need a car to explore the area - afitos was nearby and is a stunning village and makes for a great evening out. Sani beach is stunning and possidi is worth a visit.

The place is perfect for a family vacation with small kids, it is quiet, the beach and water are perfect, and there are several markets close by wherever your apartment is located. Doctor of Hunger is a great place to eat at. :)

We had really a great experience at the nice and friendly family hotel. It was clean and very good value. You should ask the family for beach and food recommendations. Really great holidays! Wish it would have been longer :-)
We loved the space, the style, the furniture, EVERY single detail was carefully picked and top-notch. They clean it every day, towels are so soft, sheets as well. It's luxurious as the best possible hotel, but with the home-like privacy and intimacy.
Also very important: they are responsive and trouble-shoot immediately.
On top of everything, micro-climate of the ground floor is unbelievable, we didn't turn on the AC because we didn't have to! Sound insulation was amazing, as well.
Just one fabulous suite. Highly recommended.
I definitely think this is one of the best hotel I've ever been in Greece. It's very modern, very cozy and stylish. Very nice and comfortable room. Small and good pool. Good gym. What I was impressed with the most was the beach, the location, and staff of the hotel: very warm and friendly, always helpful and attentive. Restaurant and the bar are also excellent. Highly recommended! With a lot of thanks to all the hotel staff.
The location is amazing, everything is close: restaurants, beaches, stores. Didn't have difficulties with check it. Stephanie is amazing and made everything that she could to make us comfortable. If you want to visit Kassandra, then I highly recommend visiting Polychrono and staying at Araliki.
There is also a private and secured parking space, but it's 5 min by walk from the hotel. For us, it wasn't difficult to walk it.
The hotel is located next to the beach. The room is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. The room is cleaned and towels are changed once every two days. Sun loungers on the beach are free for hotel guests. The breakfast was excellent and varied, and we also enjoyed the sea view from the terrace. Polite and responsive staff.

We liked the location a bit away from the city rush- but still close enough when you wanted to go to restaurant, bar or beach. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. Hotel offers everything you need for the relaxing holidays- also recommended for the families with children, cause you can find plenty attractions fir the children in the holet area.
The staff is the most welcoming and the best staff I ever experienced in any Hotel. They told us a lot of info about the Halkidiki beaches, restaurants, bars etc in daily basis. They were really kind and really nice! The environment inside (room) and outside (balcony and pool) is very clean. The private pool is cleaned by the staff in daily basis.
We liked everything about this hotel - nice location very close to the beach, clean and comfortable room as well as great variety of choice for breakfast (including vegan milk for your coffee which is rare for hotels). The owners were very kind people who regularly checked if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
This hotel is great! The breakfast and the dinner are excellent! The rooms are perfectly cleaned daily. The location is very good - near the centre and still very quiet. The hosts are very welcoming and give good recommendations for the beaches.
