I don’t know where to begin in describing what we LOVED about the property. The location in Myrthios is absolutely breathtaking. Our apartment had a wonderful veranda with an unobstructed view of the beach below, in Plakias. We chose to eat on the veranda as we believed this location rivalled any other seaside restaurants in town. The room was spotless and had every amenity that we required. The pool area was absolutely stunning with gorgeous views of the town of Plakias and beaches below. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We could not have asked for a more fabulous place to stay. This was our first time visiting the Plakias/Myrthios area and we will surely return to Stefanos Village. It has been the highlight of our vacation in Greece. We really enjoyed its proximity to many wonderful beaches and for those who love adventure, it is close to the Kourtaliotiko gorge and waterfall - a definite must- see. In summary, this was certainly an unexpected but very welcomed paradise that is so much more lovely in person.

The pool is amazing, really deep and large; perfect for escaping from the heat. The breakfast is very good; there are many options and delicious homemade biscuits too. Take a side trip to visit Kourtaliotiko Gorge. There is a trail in the gorge, but we didn't have time for that. So we stopped along the road above and followed the path passed the Church of Saint Nicholas down to a beautiful view of the waterfall.

Quiet place in November, but sea temperature was super nice. Supermarkets are open, as well as some restaurants. There was a lot of construction going on. Many tavernas close to attractions are closed, so take plenty of snacks.

Plakias is a good place to have a rest moving from Imbras...
Plakias is a good place to have a rest moving from Imbras Gorge to Kourtaliotiko gorge, city is small and quite. Beaches in city itself not seems are extraordinary, they have many rocks, but on the left end is there a nudist beach

Plakias has a nice village feel with nice beach's and plenty of tavernas, supermarket's, bakers and butchers, all within easy walking distance. We found the food at Antoni's Place was excellent and staff very helpful.

Plakias is a smallish town and very laid back and relaxing. As we were half board we didn't try many of the bars/restaurants on offer. We were going to go on a boat trip but one of our daughters was ill so we had to abandon that idea. My other daughter and I did visit Kourtaliotiko Gorge and waterfall which was amazing and we made it to Souda beach on the last day which had lovely clear water. We had a car so we could travel around. I personally think that is an essential if you want to explore the area as it takes a while to drive anywhere as the roads are quite small and bendy!
Really great stay as a couple at NEREA. From arrival to goodbye, the staff is at your service the whole time, smiles included. Location is a bonus, if you like the beatch, beach bars, local restaurants and small beach towns, as all of that is only 20 steps away from your hotel doorstep. The hotel is perfectly up to date, clean as a whistle and has everything you need to sit back and relax, the spacious terrace not to say the least. Would recommend this for sure! Gertjan & Severine
I stayed here for 4 nights and I really loved this apartment. It’s much larger than other apartments or studios that I stayed in around Crete for the same or more money. I stayed in apartment 4 which has a huge outdoor patio to relax, eat and also very private for sunbathing etc. The apartment has a full kitchen. It was also cleaned everyday! The location was perfect in Plakias. The hosts were very friendly and hospitality. Highly recommend.
Amazing sea view from the room balcony, quiet location a bit outside of Plakias, 10min footwalk along the seaside to the town with many excellent taverns and cafes, 5min walk downhill from the hotel to the cobble stone part of the beach with very few people and great snorkeling possibilities, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast on a pretty terrace, small fridge and water boiler in the room.. we absolutely loved it!
This small family run hotel is at a great location, very close to Damioni and Ammoudaki beaches, which are our favourite in the area. The hotel has everything you need, it’s clean and the beds are super comfortable. Above all, we loved the hospitality of Katerina and Fotis- very nice hosts and gave us great tips of where to eat and relax. We would definitely recommend this place!
The property manager was very responsive, staff were very friendly. They clean the room every day. The room had a beautiful view and I loved that the room had a kitchen area and cooking utensils. Parking was easy, it was very close to the beach and the main Plakias town area. Each room has a balcony, but only half face the water, so it's a gamble if you'll get a good view or not.
Nice architecture & interion design, nice atmoshere, good view from the terrace, quiet place to sleep and relax. Beach is close. In general we liked Plakias - it is a wonderful place to stay for vacation. Hotel had very helpful personal, helped us with early checkout and adviced best places and restaurants for a visit
Increteblue Suites was fantastic for us - we only stayed one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The locaiton as great, a quick walk to the beach (or very quick drive) and downtown area. The host was very friendly and available for questions/recommendations. Amazing bathroom and comfortable bedroom!
Fantastic location overlooking the sea with great sun terrace and unforgettable sunsets. By far, my most comfortable and luxurious room in Crete. Beach in front, tavernas, cafes, etc all closeby. Breakfast area and terrace and extremely friendly hosts.
