Amazing location, just a few steps away from the bustling area of Plaka where all the nice bars and food are. Airbnb concept where your neighbours are actual people living there.
The place itself is superb, amazing view of the sea and sunset with a hot tub, outdoor bedding.
Inside the villa, it has all the amenities u need, and the manager/host Dimitri Petros is one gem of a lad. Always contactable, always giving us good recommendations. Amazing chap! Give him a raise please!! He helped carry almost 80kgs of luggage up and down from the car park to our Villa 300m uphill.
Cleaner comes once a day, does a decent job.

Our stay at Niove Suites was perfect! Central location in Plaka and a great base to get around the island by car. Our double room, with double bathroom, was ideal for our girls trip. The decor is gorgeous! Although the highlight is the host, Antonia. She is incredibly kind and helpful, going the extra mile always.

The room that we were staying was new but still wasn't enough to be comfortable. The bad was conformable All the equipments were new, like air conditioner, fridge ect. Was absolutely quiet, and view from the garden was peaceful.

Nice to be in a location with some restaurants/bar, lots of shops, incredible views and lots of friendly cats! Safe area and free public parking lot a 10-15 min walk from most places in the Plaka. Overall seems much less crowded and crazy than Adamas Port area. Some small museums in the town. As Plaka is higher up on the island, be prepared for walking inclines/declines and some stairs depending on your route. Limited car parking up close to restaurants and some of the rental accommodations, so something to consider if you have difficulty with mobility. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this area again.

Excellent location in Placka.
Excellent location in Placka. The host Stelios really care about the clients and he is used to provide very useful information about restaurants and beaches in Milos and other islands. The studio was amazing with an excellent view. I suggest all future visitors of Milos to stay in the old village of Placka and book a room at Halara Studios.

Magnificent view from the terrace of the countryside below Plaka, parts of the Milos bay and the windmills of Trypiti. On foot you can reach the old core with its beautiful Cycladic architecture in a few minutes or the ancient theater in half an hour. Don't miss the sunset from the Kastro! Our host Dimitris was incredibly helpful, in case of technical problems (Wi-Fi) immediately on the spot and had many good tips for restaurants, beaches and other destinations. On request, our apartment would have been cleaned even daily, which we did not find necessary.

Plaka is a small village but definitely the best place to stay on Milos due to the village being quite lively at night. I recommend a car for the island anyways so you might as well stay in that village and get a great view. The village is also central enough to the main attractions that if you want to hike directly from there to the port city or the beaches (Plathiena) or fish village (Klima) you will have a nice good hike. The prices are more expensive there so go eat elsewhere. The Utopian Café is worth it, though you can see the beautiful sunset from so many places. Do not go to the only café/bakery near the center - it's overpriced. Go to Adamantas - the port town - better prices for better quality.

This was a lovely stay. The family were really friendly.
This was a lovely stay. The family were really friendly. There are restaurants nearby.some a bit pretentious. We used a local taxi to take us around and to leave on the ferry
Incoming was difficult as l ferry was two hours late. Nothing at ferry terminal. Best to walk to entry to port where there are more.
No nearby local shops.
Excellent archaeology including the spot where Venus de Milo was found.

Plaka was the perfect little village to stay in.
Plaka was the perfect little village to stay in. At night they block off car traffic and so pedestrians can walk freely from restaurants to shops to bars, etc. So cozy and lots of dining options. Central to the whole island.
The place is absolutely stunning, with sunsets “better than Santorini,” as one local told me, but all to yourselves. The setting is unreal. Fragkoulis, who runs the hotel, is incredibly helpful and assisted us with anything we needed. He has done a great job restoring the old house, with lots of traditional touches and keeping some of the original furniture, but also with great modern upgrades, like a beautiful bathroom and a nice kitchen.
Liked how it was on top of a hill and in an outside town. The Town had it's own restaurants and stores that we could walk to. The staff was very friendly. They made all accomodations including bring breakfast at different times each day. They also were kind enough to hold our luggage til the afternoon when we had our flight. The food was good. They even serve drinks to the room or pool.
Nice views of the ocean, five minute walk to old city Plaka. Owner is Stelios who also owns a bar named Verinas (cute little joint with hand crafted cocktails). Breakfast not included. Has an electric stove top with some cooking supplies and small hotel size mini fridge. Would recommend getting a car to drive to all the beaches of Milos. Helped us with car and restaurant reservations.
The spacious rooms. Quality bedding and bed was very comfortable- it was like I never left home. 5 stars for the space. The bathroom and kitchen was nice and we had a private outdoor area that overlook Plaka and our own private pool. The host and his wife are fabulous and very hospitable. The amenities are fabulous and very close to Plakes! Best hotel in Milos!!
This place is great, it had a washing machine/some facilities for cooking which was amazing! Also one of the better showers during our stay in Greece. Moschoula would also bring baking every morning which was so kind of her 😊 we were also able to store our luggage until our ferry which was later in the evening! Loved the late check out time of 12pm 😊
View of the sunset on your own terrace. Barely a 2 minute walk into the center of Plaka. 10 minutes with luggage to bus stop to go into Adamantas.
Betty and her husband are so incredibly kind and helpful. You have everything you need in your studio. The room was immaculately clean. Bed is standard firm for Greece 😁
After 12 days of traveling through Greece we can say that this was our best stay. the location, the attention of dimitris (who picked us up and took us to the port, super kind), the room, the view, everything! we love it! meeting milos in this house made the experience even better. We highly, often recommend! ❤️
We loved the amount of space we had - this was unexpected considering how affordable the booking was. We loved the amount of privacy, and our own little courtyard. We really loved our hosts - so helpful and keen to try to communicate with us despite not speaking our language. Bonus - lots of cute cats.
Location was phenomenal. In the center of Plaka. Easy walk to all restaurants in the center of town. Short walk to the bus stop. Room was beautifully decorated. View was incredible. Dimitris, the hotel’s owner picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port. He was a lovely host.
Fantastic customer service - from advice and booking of tours, providing restaurant recommendations and bus timetables, through to providing an unexpected afternoon snack after we’d had a day at the beach. The 5 euro breakfast was excellent value for money.
Everything about this hotel was amazing. Made our stay in Milos even better. Antonia our host was the best. She helped us organizing our day trips and helped us with everything we needed including reservations. We recommend to stay here 100%.
The room was spotless clean and the location is ideal. You are walking distance to all the little shops and restaurants.
The owner is super nice, he went down to the village to get us and bought us directly to our room. Recommend this hotel!!
Really comfortable and spacious. Fantastic views from the terrace up to the kastro and sea. Apartment cleaned every 2 days with changes of all beds, towels and bins. Staff at Athena travel were very helpful about booking tours and a car.
everything! The hosts were very accommodating and the breakfast was the best breakfast we’ve had in Greece. everything was so fresh and delicious. we’d love to visit this property again. The view is unbelievable with an amazing sunset.
Some positives. The staff accepted a package for us - so that was quite nice. The location is pretty close to the main area in Plaka. The room was large and relatively clean. Overall pretty decent but not a standout hotel on our trip
This was the highlight of our two week stay in Greece. Anastasia and her husband Lucas were incredibly friendly and good to us. The studio was perfect, with the most incredible views, we didn't want to leave! Great location too!
The hotel is run by a most hospitable and friendly Greek family that are so kind and welcoming.
Spotless clean, well equipped, good size rooms. Just 5 minute walk to Plaka.
The best stay from our visit in Greece, the host went the extra mile to help us with traveling and even food. Really loved out stay it was absolutely beautiful!
