The staff were excellent . Breakfast was fantastic with amazing views. The walk into town was very pleasant once we discovered the road opposite this had better footpaths . A very special thanks to George, Mike and little George. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were amazing. We had a fantastic holiday.

Pigi is a lovely little village outside of Rethimno, it might be too quiet for some. Can easily get the bus from top of village for €2 each way or a taxi will cost you €20.
Highly recommend hiring a car so you can see places like Lake Kournas or Bali .
We ate in all 3 restaurants in Pigi , and also Paprika about 10 mins walk. The food is Cretan and very reasonable.
