The room was very comfortable and the view absolutely stunning (the view from the rooms but also the big pool and the place of the breakfast).
The breakfast was one of the best I ever had in a hotel : you can choose 3 plates and two beverages in a menu. The choice is good and offers variety of typical greec dishes and the plates are well cooked.
The staff is also very nice.

My visit to Pirgos Kallistis in Santorini was nothing short of magical! This charming village, perched on a hill, offers some of the most stunning views on the island. Wandering through the narrow, winding streets felt like stepping back in time, with each turn revealing picturesque houses, quaint cafes, and beautiful churches.
The atmosphere in Pirgos is wonderfully serene, a perfect escape from the busier parts of Santorini. The friendly locals added to the charm, always greeting us with warm smiles and helpful tips about the best spots to explore.
One of the highlights was the incredible panoramic view from the top of the village. We enjoyed breathtaking sunsets that painted the sky in brilliant hues of orange and pink, a sight that will stay with me forever.
The food in Pirgos was fantastic too! We indulged in delicious traditional Greek cuisine at several local tavernas, each meal a delightful experience of fresh, flavorful dishes.
Overall, Pirgos Kallistis is a hidden gem in Santorini. It's perfect for those looking to experience the authentic beauty and tranquility of the island. I can't recommend it enough!

A smaller and quieter town off the beaten track, perfect for those looking to get away from the bustle of Oia or Fira but still have access to shops and restaurants. Beautiful views from the top of the whole west coast of the island, very romantic at night. Walking distance to other towns including Megalochori and also vineyards there. There is a bus service here but as with all buses in Santorini service can be unpredictable, and crowded so best to find another mode of transport if not already staying here!

Pirgos is a lovely village 10 mins from the airport....but you wouldn't know it was that close noise wise.
The village has quite a few restaurants so not short of choice. It also has a mini mart and a bakery and a really good pharmacy should you need one. So really quite the perfect place with all you could want.
There is a bus service so you can get into the main town Fira and from there to other places on the island fairly easily and cheaply.
All in all it a really excellent place to stay

We loved everything we did in Pyrgos.
We loved everything we did in Pyrgos. We were able to walk to the village and the winery. We also were able to rent a car and see the island!
Be open about needing to stop and figure out where you are. We walked 20K steps each day and sometimes backtracked because we don't read the local language. But the moments of looking lost allowed us to connect with other travelers who made great selections.
The trails were wonderful. The sunsets were spectacular. We visited a little off season, so there were no crowds.
I hadn't driven a manual transmission in 30 years, it took a minute to gain my confidence. If you plan to rent a car try to refresh the skills, steep hills is not the place to learn to use a clutch!
One of my favorite memories was an afternoon at Triana tavern. Enjoy!

Great restaurants, great bakery, amazing views of the sunset from the castle / Franco's Bar. The gyros cafe in the square served the best gyros I've had in Greece and it was very well priced.
Mataroa restaurant is genuinely fantastic - the octopus was amazing.
The staff really make this hotel special. From the reception to the pool bar, everyone is AMAZING. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world, and this place was truly fantastic. Bed was one of the most comfortable, and the breakfast is a la carte and a buffet, served just near the pool. The town of Pyrgos has some great restaurants and views for the sunset, so there was no need to go to the more expensive and crowded Thira or Oia. Special thanks to Steve at the pool bar for his cocktail creations. I will be back!
Gorgeous Villa #2 we stayed in with 3 bedrooms!! The property is breathtaking! The front desk girl was so helpful with WhatsApp texts during our stay, great service! Tostas, restaurant mgr was so great - he treated us to a bottle of wine for my 60th bday with a great sunset view when we arrived! He is a great asset to the hotel. Our massages and the spa girls working there were great.
Loved how quiet this property is compared to other areas of the island. Listening to church bells on Easter weekend was a bonus!
We love everything. Such a cute little hotel with 2 rooms only in the heart of Pyrgos. The host met us in the town and walk us up to the cave house. She was very careful about social distancing and cleanliness, we feel safe! We love the look and feel of the spacious room. In the morning, you can prepare your own breakfast and enjoy it in the outdoor area. The Callisti's Castle is just a few min walk away. There are shops and restaurant within walking distance. We will surely book again and stay longer time.
This hotel is very well located as it’s in the middle of the island so you can explore everything. The town of Pyrgos is far away from the crowd and really authentic. You can still find shops and good restaurants. The room was perfect, the pool is really a must and the view was amazing. The staff is really kind and can give you advices for your stay and help you with reservations and they serve a wonderful breakfast every morning.
The rooms were spacious and spotless with great décor. The breakfast was so delicious with a huge variety of options! The staff were polite, attentive and helpful. They recommended us very good restaurants and places to see but hotel has also very good view and you can watch very love sunset in the hotel. If I go to Santorini again, I will definitely stay in this hotel. Excellent location, excellent view and excellent staff!
The staff were incredibly friendly and were always keen to help where they could. The room was light, spacious and modern and it was great having a kitchen for flexibility. The beautiful historic town of Pyrgos is just up the road with a range of excellent restaurants to choose from - and the views across the rest of the island from the hotel swimming pool area were brilliant.
Cherstofer is supported and friendly host very nice person and helped us a lot
Location is perfect room is nice the view is a stunning best ever sun set I ever seen there is some good restaurants and small shops around
Breakfast not bad hotel is really nice and definitely I will come back again
The hotel is on a noisy road but don’t let that deter you (we just put a noise machine on our phone). The views were STELLAR. The staff EXTREMELY helpful, friendly and reachable at all times. Breakfast brought TO YOUR ROOM! Complimentary hospitality ‘items’ were an additionally nice touch.
This hotel, and the staff, were amazing in every way. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, and the room was so comfortable and spacious. The location was a perfect distance to travel to the bigger cities on the island.
Maira was very flexible. I realized I made a mistake with my reservation; she fixed it quickly and make everything less stressful. She was so helpful; she arranged early breakfast(4 am) and transportation. Highly recommend this hotel.
Nice neighborhood, clean room, nice food comes to your room daily based on your choice, very small private pool, helpful staff (arranged car rental, taxi to port, things to do in Santorini), free parking to the hotel
The facilities were excellent and the two rooms we had were very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The Hotel was ideally situated with easy access to restaurants and entry into old town of Pyrgos.
I can’t say enough about this amazing hotel. This is our second time staying there and we loved everything about it. Amazing staff/owner, great breakfast, beautiful view, sparkling clean pool.
The accommodation is stylishly presented, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Pair this with an owner who is next-level attentive and you’ve got yourself a perfect stay in Pyrgos!
I landed in Santorini without a hotel booked. I booked this at the airport to stay the night. The hotel is spotless. Lovely breakfast. Manager/owner so helpful. AMAZING. service 5 stars!
the views and the design and most of all the service that the hotel provides is outstanding. everything combined together makes it an amazing experience!
