The location was perfect to get to either end of the Paleokastritsa area. The staff were all very helpful and really bring the place to life. It was lovely to have a pool for days when we didn’t want to get sandy/salty at the beach, plus a large balcony and a fridge in the room made afternoon wine and cards a great way to take in the view. A sea view room is definitely worth the extra money.
Breakfast was consistent and enough options so we weren’t having the same thing everyday. The gyros from the pool snack bar were amazing (and cheap)!
We also really appreciated the courtesy room on the last day where we were able to shower before our 9pm flight.
This small, family run hostel is found within a short walk from the beach. It offers a reception/bar area and a large sun terrace overlooking the bay of Paleokastritsa.

The staff are unbelievably friendly the hotel is in a perfect spot - with restaurants, shops and markets at a walking distance. There is even an atm right next to the hotel. And the beach is literally 3 minutes walk from there. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

Everything was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. Great location. Beautiful place. But without a doubt the hospitality we received was exceptional. Many thanks to Katherina for her kindness. An excellent hostess. And Yiannis with he’s witty personality.

Absolutely stunning views from our hotel. Not touristy like the other places we visited. We loved our walk up to the monastery. Some wonderful restaurants nearby. The green bus stop is just across the road for a trip into Corfu town. We ate at Limanis for three nights, and Nicos for one. We hired a car for two days from Friendly Car Rentals.

Its a beautiful spot for relaxing, crystal clear water, really peaceful beaches, no heavy drinking boozy culture- obviously you can drink but its so laid back and theres no loud nightlife and boozy brits. We did lots of hiking into the mountains (up the donkey trail into Lakones), swimming, snorkelling and eating amazing and really reasonably priced food in tavernas. We went into Corfu town, which was great but I would have been happy to spend the whole time just in Paleokastritsa because its beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Nikos and Dolphin Tavernas were our favorites for food, Yialos for morning coffees on the beach and Kathys supermarket was very well stocked.

This area of Corfu is gorgeous! The water is clear and beautiful! Visit the Monastery to see some relics from the 1600’s and gorgeous views! The Monastry Cafe has beautiful views and a delicious cocktail menu.
Boats are available to rent.
Snorkeling gear is available for rent from the gift shop near the boat ramp. But unfortunately we didn’t see many fish in early May.

Paleocastrica- it’s nothing like picturesque village. It’s big parking sides with lots of cars and coaches ,very busy
Lots of abandoned ,rusted cars and boats just left on the sides of the road . Paleocastrica it’s a port
where tourists are coming to rent a boats for a day trip
Beaches are small, not clean , very overcrowded. Sea waters are polluted because each beach it’s a station for lots of boats
There is no decent place to eat .
It’s looking beautiful on pictures, but different when you’re there.
Disappointing

Great views and a couple of nice beaches.
Great views and a couple of nice beaches. The hinterland is beautiful with some good hiking. Town is a bit haphazard and untidy. Totally closes in the off-season. Closest supermarket (good) 2 kilometres, cafe 3 kilometres, restaurant (great) 5 kilometres away

Paleokastritsa is an absolute gem of a destination, and my recent visit left me in awe of its beauty and charm. The natural beauty of Paleokastritsa is truly breathtaking. The clear, turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush, green landscape, creating a postcard-perfect scene. The jagged cliffs and numerous small coves and beaches make it a haven for nature enthusiasts, photographers, and sunseekers alike. One of the standout experiences in Paleokastritsa is visiting the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Perched on a hill overlooking the village, the monastery offers panoramic views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. It's a peaceful and spiritual place that provides a glimpse into the region's history and culture.
I loved staying here. It's next to all the best restaurants in town. It is a short 5 minuet walk to a few nice beaches. The main town is about a 30 minute walk. I rented a bike and it was perfect. It's easy to get to by bus if you take the green line from Corfu Town (36 mins). The owner was very helpful. The view on the balcony was breath taking. There are 2 bed rooms 1 bath. The beds are firm, the hot water is great, the wifi works better during the day then at night, the place was quiet, clean. I will definitely stay here again!
Clean and Well presented / comfortable Studio - well suited for a couple for a week to relax on the beach / tour Corfu. 30mtrs walk down to the beach for our morning and evening Swim, with only 10 steps down from the sun beds to the small beach for a dip. 2 other beaches very close - 5mins walk over to them. Several very good Restaurants. Including the restaurant out the front and Nikos / Dolphin on the other beach. Lovely Hosts that met us and handed over the keys and we visited there Tango Cafe which was also Excellent
Simple cozy accommodation with a great view, convenient location, and a hospitable host. A small supermarket is just a couple of minutes of walk towards a beautiful Agios Spiridon Beach with fantastic snorkeling and boats to get a cave tour. Quite a few restaurants and taverns are around as well. A 15 minutes walk to Paleokastritsa Monastery with a great spot to view a sunset. A donkey trail to Lakones via a beautiful Olive Garden. I'd definitely recommend it to get the best Corfu experience.
Everything. MUST DO if you visiting Corfu. Breathtaking views, amazing hotel. Super friendly staff. AMAZING buffet.
This hotel is not cheap but trust me you get what you paid for !
I would recommend to anyone visiting the island.
There is a parking lot you can use. A beach club down the hotel if you want. It will cost you around 25euros sitting first row.
The hotel has chairs as well where you can sit and enjoy the sun and sea.
One of the most beautiful place in Greece I’d say !
The Odysseus Hotel was amazing! I was booked in a corner suite with an excellent view from my balcony of the ocean, such beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The room, bathroom and bedding was clean and very comfortable. The staff service and breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel was close walking distance to sites, beaches and the Green Bus is just across the street to take you to Corfu Town. If I travel again to Corfu, Greece, I would definitely stay at the Odysseus Hotel.
Katharina was there to greet us whe we arrived, she was very warm and welcoming! Loved our room, the AC was strong and the wifi worked great. Great pool! Loved having a kettle and mini fridge. The hotel is very close to the beach. It also has various restaurants nearby as well as a market. The hotel is directly across the street from the Green Bus stop that takes you back to Corfu town.
Very friendly people, it's a beautiful home, very clean, easy check in/out, nice kitchen with lots of appliances, great to have a washing machine and drying rack for clothes, beautiful views. Convenient parking and close to a couple beaches in that area. Rooms/areas with air conditioning were great and appreciated having a common space. Nice to have a bathroom per room.
We enjoyed our stay at Anthimos Rooms very much. The view was spectacular, the room was tidy and whatever we needed (beaches, supermarket, restaurants and bus stop) was very close to the accommodation.
Moira was very helpful and we enjoyed a good chat with her every morning. Overall, I would strongly recommend Anthimos Rooms for a wonderful vacation in Paleokastritsa.
Incredible location! Beautiful view! Comfy room!
Best goes out to the host however! She was so much help and always had a smile on her face! You know you have an incredible person working for you when I’m on vacation in Corfu and because of her and that positive and cheery aura, I come back to hang at the hotel bar!
Highly recommend!
Give that woman a raise!
Located at an amazing spot on two of the best beaches in Corfu island. The staff is kind and listening, making you feel at home, and the restaurants are of high quality and relatively fair price. the hotel has a bus station right outside, and PADI diving center right downstairs. The room was big and beautifully designed, facing the beach and the sunset.
A beautiful view for a great price, well situated in Corfu. Close to the beaches and bus stops however if you are after night life be mindful that the buses back to this area from Corfu town stop at 9pm during the summer season. A very wholesome stay with some great sweets and the hosts were extremely helpful and responsive for all of our questions!
I loved the stay. Loved the garden area and the view. I love nature and peace and quiet so this accommodation was definitely that. I love Greek villas, the property had Greek charm about it. Can’t beat the view. I love Corfu and for me this accommodation was an excellent choice. And half hour for Corfu town so perfect distance.
Cozy, comfortable and homey apartment stay in an extremely well-located area in Paleokastritsa. It is a quick drive or a 10-minute walk to the most beautiful beaches.
The owner is friendly and gave us wonderful recommendations on local things to do.
.
Really good value for a comfortable if simple place to stay in Paleokastritsa. As we are walking the Corfu Trail, this was a perfect spot - right on the route, warm showers in the adjacent block and proper beds, not just camping ones, to sleep on.
It is definitely the best place and best apartment in Corfu. The location, the nearest beach and the view from our terrace were all fantastic. The apartment is clean and comfortable, the owner is really friendly and helpful.
It has a pretty entryway & is a 2 minute walk to 3 different beaches & to the hill that goes up to the monastery. There is a nice view from the upstairs bedroom & the upstairs bathroom has been nicely renovated.
Location halfway between sea and mountains, pool was a great place to relax, Fotini was a wonderful and helpful Host.. The boat trip that Fotini organised was a highlight ! As were the cats of Corfu.!
The view and the host were amazing! I guess its the best view in Paleokastritsa or maybe Corfu. The host was so lovely and caring. We had so many extras. The whole stay was just perfect!
