It was spectacular! Awesome location. Beautiful renovation. Our room was lovely, comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast buffet was excellent, lots of choice and the eggs and pastries were outstanding. Best of all: the staff were friendly and unbelievably helpful. It was a convenient location. Breakfast had lots of options. Beach was OK. It was fairly clear when the wind wasn't blowing. Beach is rocky at the top but sandy down at the waters edge and in the water. It was very quiet and peaceful. It was a good value for what we got.

Wauw - what a nice place. The room was very spacious, especially the bathroom. Very clean, very modern equipment. We watched the sunset out of the balcony of one window side and the sunrise on the other. The view on the water castle of Bourtzi in the Argolic gulf is breathtaking. The reception provided even beach towels for the beach which is in walking distance from the Guesthouse. We loved the breakfast, a buffet with homemade bakeries and local food beautifully presented and cared for by the chef and his team.

We stayed in Nafplio for 2 days but we could have stayed much longer because it is beautiful town with many places to visit. From here we went to Epidaurus, Tyrins and Mycenae, all these are extraordinary archeological sites. The Palamidi fortress is a huge medieval citadel that sits on a hill overlooking the city, very impressive and well conserved, a masterpiece on itself. The problem there is the parking lot which is really very very small for the huge amount of visitors. It is very crowded at most times. The city center is very picturesque, narrow streets with beautiful houses and flowers everywhere, lots of small shops and boutiques.

Nafplio is a lovely and picturesque town, with lots of good restaurants and shops. It's in a lovely setting, and there are a fair few things to see and visit in the town itself, while it also makes a great base for exploring the rest of the Peloponnese. The only thing it lacks is a top quality beach, which is perhaps just as well or it would be overflowing with tourists!

although nafplio itself is not large, especially if you stick to the old town which is the most interesting part it is a good base for local tours either with a bus/ktel, affordable taxi or a car. We would have liked to at least check out Epidavros as well and a near by monastery. if you plan to visit nearby sites without basing your self in nafplio 2 days is plenty other wise 4 days to fit Mycenae and Epidavrus
This small hotel was perfect for my stay to Nafplio. It is right in the old part of town and so close to the beach and port.
The bed and bedding is extremely comfortable, the best sleep I’ve had during my trip. Like a cloud!
I had a room with balcony and it overlooked terracotta roofs and a beautiful church dome.
Breakfast was bountiful, fresh and delicious and Dimitris is an excellent proprietor, friendly and accommodating and quick to reply when I had to ask questions.

Spacious, comfortable and very helpful staff. And such a beautiful from the balcony. I sent a short video of the view- nighttime and daytime, as well as telling friends ( in Greece and England as well as relatives in America ) about the amazing apartment . All of them agreed that the view from the balcony was beautiful and my Greek friends in Nafplion that it was in a great location, with close proximity to the square, the seafront, shops and bus station. Breakfast choices a good variety at good prices.
It is common knowledge that the islands of Greece are a must place to visit in summer. I agree. The only thing better than visiting the Greek islands is a visit to Nafplio exploring the surrounds and everything they have to offer. The only thing better than experiencing the above is doing so while staying at Iris Gogo House! Words do not exist that can adequately describe the experience other than to say to Gogo and Kosta we love you and we will see you again!

Excellent location, the room is cozy and temperatures were easy to adjust with heating cooling unit. Location is phenomenal with parking shopping and attractions being all around the hotel. Lots of food options nearby and the balcony alis excellent. The room had a small coffee maker and heating unit so we could make breakfast easily. Great staff super friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff do great job and keep room spotless. Overall one of the best experiences in Greece.
The location was lovely, except we didn't realize that it would be very hard to park (the streets don't allow cars near our hotel). But we found a place to park. The host was warm and make sure that our stay was perfect. The breakfast was the best in Greece. The property has a beautiful little garden with a running fountain. It was in a perfect location and we couldn't have been happier. Lina (the host) was superb! Beyond professional!

Also a wonderful welcome with a description of some of the attractions in and around Nafplio, and answering our many questions about the area. This apartment felt like home. It had everything we needed and more. It is larger than most accomodations in Greece and is really beautiful. The hosts were very helpful with checkin and anything we needed while we were there. It was in a great location to the bottom of palamidi and also central to restaurants and shops in Nafplio.

I liked everything, Dimitris and Maria were excellent hosts. Our room was cleaned every day and we always had fresh towels. The breakfast was also good. I highly recommend Ancient Tiryns to anyone who wants to visit this part of Greece ( Peleponnese) and enjoy the wonderful places of Napflio, Tolo, Spetses, Hydra and Porto Cheli.
This small,traditional hotel is situated in the heart of Nafplio old town, which makes it perfect to go around and explore the beautiful small streets and traditional shops and taverns.

Very clean, well-kept boutique hotel in the old town of Nafplio. Service and staff were exemplary. Our room has a good-size terrace with views over the rooftops toward Palmidi Fortress which was wonderful in the evening when temperatures cooled somewhat and the fortress was lit up.
The rooms were large and the bathroom had good water pressure, which is good surprise in Greece. The hosts were very attentive! The taverna in town has amazing food and great atmosphere for a little village. The mini market is 40 yards away.
Due to a description misunderstanding, we got upgraded to a slightly larger room. And the breakfast was the best we've had in Greece, with so many delicious homemade offerings that just kept coming! The shortbread cookies were awesome.

Basic from A to Z. Dated hotel which "tries" to present itself as boutique hotel but its still far from being one. Staff of ok, breakfast was ok. Overall a mediocre hotel at a convenient location for visiting the city of Nafplion.
