The location was perfect, set right in the town of Masouri close to the beach and restaurants, and in walking distance of the several great climbing spots. The hosts were incredibly friendly, and helped us to organise taxis to and from the main port in Kalymnos for our arrival and departure.

Restaurants, small grocery stores, and bars in Masouri and Myrties and easily walkable. In November, the tourist season comes to an end and some restaurants and stores shut down for the winter. However, there are still a few places still open for business. Most restaurants serve classic Greek food as well as seafood - the fresh fish is a go to. The small grocery markets supply simple but comprehensive supplies. Mostly a climber town in the spring and fall months, I saw mainly rock climbers and it was a chill vibe. If you plan to stay here for climbing or exploring, know that you need an international or EU drivers license in order to rent a car or scooter. There is plenty of climbing within walking distance, however, so that you could make do without transportation. The locals here are awesome and friendly and it's a fantastic place to spend a couple weeks if you are climbing or exploring the Greek islands.

Kalymnos and Telendos are very attractive Islands. Short ferry trip between the two is 3 euros with stunning views.
Masouri is the centre for sport rock climbers from around the world. The paths created to get to the crags give steep walks for others to enjoy the scenery or watch their climbing activities.

Vehicle parking could be tricky at times - we had a car rather than a scooter - but always managed to squeeze in somewhere.

Masouri is the best location to stay in the island of Kalymnos with plenty of restaurants some very nice rock bars, great views of sunset and the opportunity to go to the Telendos island. It was touristic but still quiet and peaceful.

Masouri is the perfect base for a climbing holiday, with crags within walking distance, and all the accommodation, eating and drinking facilities that you will need. Swimming as well, of course. October is an excellent time, with good weather that is not too hot.
Our personal favourite restaurants: Panos, The Aegean, and Aegean Alas.

So peaceful with everything you need to chill and relax in comfort. A rock climbing Mecca making it even more appealing with many great places to go.
Very easy to walk around the town with beaches right there and a good selection of food and small shops.
Lovely and hospitable landlady and staff.
Sufficient room , and comfortable beds with beautiful Telendos Island view.
The most important one is that Cleaned daily, and changed bed sheet and towels.
Satisfactory fridge, and kitchen stuff and Air Conditioner
The place is also very central and after 2-3 min walking reachable to beach, restaurants and markets etc.
Rooms are better than looks in photos.
I would definitely choose same hotel, If I'm lucky to find free room in there :)
The location was the best part of this property. we enjoyed beautiful sunsets every night, it is a few minutes walk from food stores, the beach, restaurants and bars. The actual property is perfect. It has everything you need and we were so pleased with the way that the owners were constantly answering every question we had and as Mike is a taxi driver, we had no problems getting wherever we needed to go.
I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be returning.
Super nice Studio in the center of massouri. It is literally a 1 minute walk to the closest restaurant, supermarket or scooter rental. The room is big, bright and clean. The view from the balcony on telendos is awesome. Despite being right in the center, it is quiet at night. We have been on kalymnos for the fifth time now and stayed in several different accommodations, but apollonia hotel is outstandingly great. We will definitely come back! .
Very comfortable, good location with bus stop next to the hotel. Room was pretty and exactly what we needed. The view of Telendos from our room was amazing. We loved the communal food area also the bottles of water provided in the hotel so that we don't have to carry them ourselves as the tap water is not drinkable. Kalotina at the reception went above and beyond for us, she was brilliant and sure made our stay unique. We would visit again.
First of all, the stuff and the reception was extremely nice and patient, they helped me with everything that I needed.
The room is beautiful, clean and fun. The kitchen is just what you need, the bathroom and shower are clean and beautiful and view from the room is insane. Everything about my Apollonia stay was 10/10.
Even the location is probably the best in kalymnos.

My room to the rear only had a street view......continental style breakfast was of a good standard......the cleaning regime was daily!......staff responses to enquiries was prompt and professional..... the facilities included an extensive sun terrace plus bar, swimming pool and access to the beach.....a spacious breakfast room with views to the sea side of the hotel being superb!
Very friendly and courteous host and staff. Could not hope for a better location right on beach with all required facilities eg tavernas etc excellent and generous breakfast included. While there, we saw they were awarded national recognition for being one of the 10 best boutique hotels in Greece.
Breakfast is basic (but we knew). The location (provided you get Seaview) is wonderful - to the point, we would forgive other weaknesses. The hotel needs some refresh - which clearly is NOT done/postponed. Nevertheless - we would return. The location! The staff is great ( but we knew).
This hotel is in an excellent location and our bed was very comfortable (something we’ve had trouble finding in Kos and Kalymnos). The view from the pool and outdoor dining terrace are unbeatable, and the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful. Would certainly stay here again.
The location and the outdoor area is really beuatiful. The Hotel seems recently renovated with modern touch. Breakfast is great with an amazing terrace looking over the pool and the bay in front. The staff is also really nice and helpful!:) we liked this vacation very much.

Great location, big room and balcony looking straight out to sea, cleaned every day, felt very luxurious! Direct access to the sea. Much quieter than other places we stayed at masouri. We will absolutely come back here.
Very comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. You can get cheaper apartments in Masouri but the comfort and facilities in Sdregas (especially after a days climbing) made it well worth the cost.
