We have already been here before as we loved it the last time, and coming back is always the right choice! The sea view room is an excellent choice because it is quiet, romantic, and with a magnificent view both to the sea and the woods. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the moment you arrive here you will realize you are in paradise! An extra plus for our amazing experience was the restaurant within the hotel that has the most amazing omelets included in the rich breakfast offered along with the traditional Greek spinach and cheese pies! We have stayed in Limenaria for three consecutive summers. This was probably the last one, because the inconveniences for tourists are becoming more and more.
There is no nice beach in the town. You have to travel appr. 10-15 km to go to a nice one.
Good place for evening walks. The restaurants are probably the only nice thing about Limenaria.
There's a water regime every evening, which makes it horrible for the tourists that stay in Limenaria. The potable water isn't good enough for drinking and bathing.
This is a bit odd, but there are lots of wasps, so if you're allergic keep it in mind.

Limenaria is a terribly crowded locality. I recommend it to those who do not go on vacation for rest. If you have a week off and you want to enjoy the sea, but also to rest after a whole year of work, Limenaria is not what you need.

The ancient village in the hills nearby was incredible. Ancient stone houses (many being restored) and church were amazing. The view from there is breathtaking but the drive in is not for the faint hearted.
We were really pleased to have local residents lead us up there.
We actually had no meals in Limenaria, but had GREAT pizza at a charming place in Theologo, about 20 minutes away.

Although I read all the great comments in Booking, this hotel exceeded my expectations. First time in Thassos and we got to the most amazing hotel that I've ever stayed at. Extremely warm welcome, amazing room and view, exceptional food.
The hotel itself is new and very, very well maintained and the staff is so friendly. It is located in a quiet pine forest away from the main road. Beautiful beach few meters away, kids playground and a Greek night every Tuesday!!

The room and the services were exceptional! Ria and the staff made us feel like home. We felt pampered and taking care of like no other place we went in Greece so far. The view from our room at the top was breathtaking, it was like we were on a cruise ship, the sea was feeling so close. The food was verry good and tasty and again, the services both at the complex and restaurant were top notch. Beach with sand umbrellas and sun beds are right in front of the hotel.
Fully equipped stone house in the private shade of olives and pines, with the look of the Aegean sea. Beautiful experience of Thassos and Limenaria. It's like you are staying at an old friends place, just with better service. Anna is the warm host and every request is fulfilled in a timely manner. Great guest experience. Houses are cleaned everyday. Bed sheets and towels are changed regularly. Excellent service. Its one of most relaxing places I've ever been.
Homelia is a wonderful house where we feel like we are at home in Thassos. Its proximity to the beach and tavernas is very attractive. There is never a parking problem. The rooms are cleaned every day and the cleaning is very thorough. The apartment facilities are magnificent. We will definitely come here again
