This was my 6th visit to Corfu and my first time to Ermones. The hotel is situated in a wonderful location with great views of the sea and mountains. We had a very warm and friendly welcome from all the staff which continued throughout our stay. The pool area is very well played out with great sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool is clean, warm and inviting. There is a smaller pool ideal for children. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. We enjoyed great food around the pool area and again in the taverna down the hill that belongs to other members of the family. This point is what makes this hotel stand out over many others. The Hotel is a very well run and cared for family business which still has a personal touch to everything. The rooms were of a good size, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms where everything works as it should. Our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. Thank you all at Philoxenia for making such an impression on us all. Graham Roberts
