The photos on booking website don't do this any justice. We had a great room, high up on the hill. It was so strange that we had to drive so high up to get to our floor. It was Mad. The crazy thing about it was to attend the breakfast on the ground floor in the main building, we had to take 2x lifts. This was def the first. It was def an experience to stay at this hotel. The staff were all great, the service was great. It was the first hotel that supplied towels and umbrella to go to the beach. We would def come here again. We loved our 4x days in Kefalonia and in the Bay Palace.

The house is more than a house, it is a home which is glad to welcome its visitors. The rooms are very spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable and inviting. The house has 2 terraces and a balcony, practically one for each room. In the morning you can hear roosters singing outside. The living room is very cozy. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and the washing machine in the bathroom is a spoil. The air conditioners (each room has individual air conditioners) are more than enough, providing the perfect temperature. Regina and Kostas, the owners, are great people who make you feel part of the family. Moreover, the suggestions for the visits, the beaches and the contacts provided are so very welcomed. We've been to many places in Greece but this is by far the best. I LOVE HOUSE KOCHYLI!

We first came to Kefalonia, last year, considering we NEVER go anywhere twice, we came back, the people on this island are lovely and very helpful, English is spoken everywhere, they will try to help if they can.
The food is fantastic and a lot of choice, seafood, meat, vegetables etc., all very fresh.
Local wine is very nice (Robalo) and of course Mythos beer !
And yes I think we would go back again.

The villa is in a fantastic location, it is private and with spectacular views. Highly recommend, but advise having a car as the villa is isolated (neighbouring villas only)which adds to its charm.
The taverna on St Thomas beach is great, steep walk down but very welcoming. Visit Argostoli to see the turtles in the port 😍
We will be back!

Kefalonia is such a special place.
Kefalonia is such a special place. Having a car is a must, and, so is having driving courage! We stayed 8 nights and still left with plenty of "things to do" on our list. The beaches are stunning, the mountain areas beautiful, the people friendly, the food amazing, and it really has the feel of an untouched paradise.

First visit and wish I’d picked this destination before.
First visit and wish I’d picked this destination before. Beautiful island with great beaches and very friendly people. I can recommend going in October if you want a relaxed peaceful time, but still with good weather (26 to 28 degrees). Some of the boat trips weren’t running but you can also do more yourself when the sun isn’t at full summer strength. Will definitely go again at this time of the year

Kefallonia is a lovely to visit.
Kefallonia is a lovely to visit. I would recommend hiring a car, preferably a small one as, when you come off the main roads, the roads are very narrow and mountainous. It is very peaceful, and going towards the end of the season, there weren't too many tourists. The weather was perfect - still warm at 27C, but not scorching.
We visited Myrtos beach, getting there fairly early, so not many people around. By the time we left, quite a few people had arrived. Road up and down to this beach is narrow. There are toilets there, and a place to buy food.
We visited Melissani Cave, which was nice, but the boat trip only lasts about 10 minutes. It was pretty to see. We went on to the fishing village of Assoss. This was very picturesque, and pleasant to wander around. Also spent a couple of hours in Argostoli and spotted quite a few turtles.

This island is magical. It is very nice for families.
This island is magical. It is very nice for families. The beaches are amazing. The villages are beautiful. It was the first time that routes with the car were not tiresome. Nature is so beautiful that you can drive all day watching the mountains and the villages.
