The property was in a great location, 10 min walk into Karterados where there are lovely restaurants and a supermarket. And a 2 minute walk to the bus stop which is easy to navigate and cheap for visiting different towns.
Villa Manos was very clean, and the rooms were cleaned each today to a high standard. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. The room did not have facilities to cook/ or have a kettle. Which suited us anyway.
The staff were amazing, so kind and friendly and anything we needed or asked for was no hassle. Especially Poppy and the girl who worked in the restaurant!
We arranged transfers with the hotel to and from the airport for convenience, these were fairly prices and efficient.
The food in the restaurant was okay, breakfast was great as very filling and plentiful for the price.
The pool was lovely, sunbeds were very comfortable. Pool is not heated and therefore I didn’t use much but my partner enjoyed it every day.
For visiting Santorini on a budget I would definitely recommend staying here, can’t fault it at all!!

Staff were so friendly. Reception staff: Bana and Maria, and all restaurant staff were super polite, friendly and would go out of their way to help you.
Peaceful, comfortable and quiet atmosphere. The owners often hangs around the lounge area and greets guests.
I requested to reception last min for a surprise decor in our room for when we returned at night on my husbands birthday. And the staff went out of their way and did lovely little decor, along with cute cake slice and balloons.
Once we had hot water issue and when we called reception, they got someone to check it straight away and fixed it within minutes. The service is so fast and great.

Location makes a car almost necessary, because it is a long walk to Fira and the bus station. However once you get to Fira, and there is a regular bus, you can travel extensively by bus. Accomodation here is cheaper as the location is not ideal for a holiday.

Simply delightful!
Simply delightful! Irene and staff are very kind, attentive and competent. The room, the garden, the breakfast, the service, all is perfect. I will return and recommend. Feel at home. Simple but good restaurants nearby, good price. Mini markets, cafeteria etc. Tour in the Santorini is highly recommended also, nice places to visit, and return by yourself. Akrotiri is special.

The owner was liar, he/she claimed guest stole their lamp & batteries. Please check their website, over 100 photos, none of them had lamp in the picture . I had NO CLUE, why did them make this kind claim?
They liar & made up things, claimed that guest asked them to drive guest around island, I hired taxi every day & I kept all the receipts to prove how much I paid for the taxi every day.
I have trouble to understand them. For sure, they ARE NOT honest people, NOT honest business.

It is very easy to use the bus service, you can get all around the island, the buses are quite busy, but run regularly right up to 11 p.m.

Nice family run Hotel.
Nice family run Hotel.
Staff always on hand to assist and book our requirment, so made our trip easier.
Great swimming pool.
10 minutes walk into the main town of Thera.
Supermarket and Bakery across the main road of hotel. Convenient for snacks, drinks and breakfast.
We have stayed here many times and the rooms are always super clean and well maintained. The location is very near to the best bakery, supermarkets and restaurants. the bus stop is also very close.
The host are always sweet and kind. they even leave you a bottle of water, and washing up dish soap and a sponge. which is really appreciated.
I wish I could write a bad review, because we visit santorini regularly and many times this hotel is booked up and we can't stay. But everthing was great in relation to the price.
The place is amazing. They have the best services and they are very kind and helpful. You can ask everything you want to know or if you have a problem, will help you with everything they can. The breakfast is very good, the prices are very good for what they offer. This hotel has just 1 star but the services are more than 5 stars. They have pool if you want, the bus station is near the hotel, you walk 3 minutes. If we will come again in Santorini, we will stay here again, and I recommend this hotel with all my heart.
Villa Manos is an amazing hotel! I highly recommend staying here. This was my second time staying & I’ll stay every time I’m in Santorini. It’s located in the center of the island so I think it’s perfect. There’s also a bus stop near & you can rent a car or ATV. The rooms are big & the hotel was a pool, jacuzzi, bar & restaurant. The owner Poppy & her staff are the best! They’re so kind & helpful. Definitely give this hotel a try when you’re on the island!
Villa Makrilis is a beautiful place to stay while you’re on the island. It’s in the center of Santorini, close to Fira. My group loved the villa, it was clean, we loved the hot tub, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was a really comfortable place to stay. We also love the host, Takis! He took the time to tell us about the island and a few really great places we wouldn’t have known about as tourists. Thank you for the incredible stay, Takis!
we loved everything about this hotel!
the location is great for visiting the whole island.
There are many services and restaurants and shops in the surrounding area.
But the most important of all was the availability of the hostess Katerina. She was always very kind and helpful and she was able to give us valuable advice for our wonderful stay in Santorini. in the future I will want to go back to Santorini and I will want to stay here!
the hotel was located very close to public transport and the city centre of Fira. The reception and rooms were stunning and very clean. we were welcomed by the owners even though we arrived late in the evening. they were very helpful (even gave us each a litre bottle of water) and gave us all the advice we needed to find our way around Santorini. As a group of 6 young woman, we felt very safe and comfortable and would definitely recommend.
We liked the room and the hotel's breakfast offering. The hosts were extremely friendly and thoughtful, and did everything to ensure we had a great stay. We were given recommendations for things to see/eat in Santorini and told how to get around the island. Alex went above and beyond - other hotel managers could learn a lot from him about how to interact with guests.
Very cosy and located in an ideal area close to Fira but far enough to avoid the busy crowds. The lady at the front desk, Maria, was very helpful and always went the extra mile to make sure things were okay. Her great and attentive customer service made it one of the most enjoyable stays i’ve ever had at any hotel, will be back here should I ever go Santorini again.
It's a small cute hotel with crystal clear swimming pool. Location is very nice. 2 mins walk to bus stop where you can go to Fira or Kamari beach. Only 15 mins walk to heart of Fira. Good restaurants nearby. Host George and Stella are very very nice, and they are willing to help at anytime. They know what and how to help with the guests.
This quaint little hotel was charming, we had room close o the beach, superb decorative lighting inside each room. the breakfast was a la carte and good but the staff was the best. Eve an Sissi were attentive, find us a shuttle to go to town, help me printing ferry tickets and were overall charming.
Super clean, the staff was very kind and helpful, the room smelled nicely as nowhere else in Santorini. I truly recommend this place. It is somewhat basic standards (it’s definitely not a five stars hotel) but keeping that in mind you won’t be disappointed. It’s spotless and good value for money.
Excellent service, the apartment was cleaned and organized every day! Location is 15 minutes walk away from the center (Thira), totally recommend. Near the place are 2 quadricycle renting places, I recommend getting those, the cheapest and comfortable way for traveling in santorini.
The hotel is good value for money. Hosts were very helpful. We were not able to find the location initially but Artemis came to pick us by himself. He even arranged food and cab for us. Would definitely stay again if we are going back to Santorini
The value for money at this property is the best in santorini. The rooms are good, neat and clean. The staff and Mr. Nikos were too good to be true. Very helpful. Sunrise view from the room was crazy. Walkable distance to Fira.
Nice and quiet location behind a church in the old part of Karterados.
10 min by feet to the bus stop, 20 min to the center of Fira.
Price for Santorini is okay. Unpretentious pension which is okay for few days.
Staff was nice.
Close to Fira station. Around 1 km distance from the bus station. So it is easy to take the bus to different parts of Santorini from Fira. There is a supermarket just across the road which is good enough for buying groceries.
