Room was basic but nice and clean. Had a balcony with quite a nice view. There was air conditioning. Small kitchen area with hot plate, toaster and kettle. Just enough utensils to make breakfast or a small meal if necessary. Also a fridge and plenty of storage. Good air conditioning.

The location of the hotel was in a quiet area but only a 10 minute walk from the main square, 5 mins to the supermarket. Very close to everything really.

We had a wonderful holiday at the Kalimera Mare Hotel. It was very clean everywhere, the rooms were cleaned every day, the food was varied but most of all I would like to highlight and thank to the great staff of the hotel. They were all very friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcomed, whether in the restaurant or at reception. I would especially like to thank the guys at the front desk - Kosmas for your hospitality and always kind talks and advices and also to the other receptionist (unfortunately I don't know the name) who brought our friend's forgotten cell phone to the airport. I think we never experienced such a willingness to help in other countries. Many thanks for everything and our regards to you and all the waiters from Slovakia.

Absolutely everything the rooms were spotless and spacious.. The house keeping was brilliant.
The staff were absolutely fantastic they made us feel so welcome the moment we arrived.

Kardamena is a charming and friendly fishing village. Lots of wonderful restaurants and bars to choose from. The locals are very helpful and friendly . A short distance from the airport so you are in and out of resort quickly. The airport is new and modern. Plenty of boat trips to other islands.

Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to the bar Noa, because comfortable sunbeds, easy access to the sea, less people.
The part of beach near the hotel I used only for regular morning swimming. During day it was uncomfortable for us because sunbeds was not able to move to the shadow, it was too narrow space for all beds.
I learned that it is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by public bus. There is no need to rent a car or travel by taxi. Also rent a car in the town is more cheaper then online rent a car.

Sun beds were free on the beach, with beach service for food and drink, (in October) I don’t know about the rest of the Summer, very Brits abroad.
Staff are very friendly.
Hotel is very clean and they clean the rooms 2 times a day.
Kids club and mini disco is amazing and very helpful. Our kids enjoyed them a lot and they were taking care of the kids from 10:30 till 12:00 and from 15:00 till 18:00 which is amazing. They had different plans for every day in kids club and they were really playing with the kids. Also, thanks to Yaroslav (if the name is correct) the mini disco was amazing for kids.
Food and drinks quality was good.
Beach was good with enough umbrellas.
This is a top notch accommodation for anyone needing a place to stay in Kardamaina. The house is located 2 minutes from all the important points.,( kritikos supermarket, bus stop that goes to mastichari port and kos town and to a lovely sandy beach)
The host was very welcoming and communicated to make sure we were okay. We had a bottle of wine, juice and water as a gift on arrival.
The apartment itself is very quiet for a good rest, and yet only two minutes away from all the bustle of the town. Would return there anytime!
The staffs are all so nice! Very helpful and friendly. I also love that this hotel has 3 pools, so no need to fight over swimming place. Rooms are very clean, and the view is amazing! We only booked for room ans breakfast but we upgraded to half-board because the buffet looks inviting. The buffet dinner was surprisingly good (I usually have a low expectation for buffet). The thematic night food was not necessarily authentic, but it was delicious.
John is an amazing and gracious host. The hotel is located right on the water with sun beds and umbrellas ready for the guests to use at no charge. The property is located on the edge of Kardamaina and is no more than 10 minute walk from anything you might need from buses or taxis to town, to supermarkets to some great restaurants. My room (and I think all) had a fridge and a hot plate as well as a balcony which was extremely useful.
the hosts were amazing & we had such a giggle with them - met us at the airport and was expecting 2 older ladies ( my fault as requested good air-con due to our age) treated us like family - so informative and friendly - location was perfect and air con was the best and cheapest in Kos & we made good friends with Kos & Kosmina - Minas 2 lovely cats - always a puurrfect greeting if we walked by them - wouldn't stay anywhere else now
Warm and welcoming staff, super clean and recently renovated in an elegant and considered manner. Cool colours and whitewashed walls provide the perfect backdrop for the colourful and beautifully maintained planting. Great facilities in the room for preparing a drink or light meal, and also really good to have the use of a large clean pool! Generous breakfast and poolside snacks. I always try to stay here whenever I pass through Kos.
We loved everything, starting from the moment we arrived to Kos until we left. We didn't want to leave! They provide an airport shuttle (around 15 minutes to the hotel), surprised us with a free upgrade to the sea view room for our honeymoon, some fruits and wine in the room. We really loved our stay, the beautiful resort, the unbeatable food, the staff and Kos Island itself. Thank you very much, we'll surely come back someday.
A perfect holiday week thanks to this warm family hosting nice rooms/appartments on a central and quiet location on Kos. the swimming pool is really large, with a cosy bar aside for drinks, coctails and fresh ssandwiches and wafles. All rooms facing the sea, sufficiant towels and very friendly staff, 2 family generations.
This was our first time on Kos, and it turns out we chose the best place to stay. Stuff was so friendly and helpful, food very delicious, and always in multiple variations.
The facility itself and the surroundings with the palm trees make this place very pleasant.
Hope we will visit it again soon.
