The hotel is situated right on the beachfront about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop. The attached restaurant sits between the hotel and the beach. If you eat in the restaurant you can use the beach sunbeds free of charge. 10 euros a bed otherwise. The restaurant food and staff was great and I would highly recommend. The hotel was modern, clean and air-conditioned. Although our room was on the small side (it was only 80 Euros in June) it did have a lovely comfy bed, a balcony facing the courtyard, a fridge for drinks and was perfect for what we wanted for the price. Pool towels were available for free with a 10 euro deposit per towel which was refunded when the towels were returned. The pool was lovely, just at the front of the hotel overlooking the restaurants and beach (all the hotels on 'the strip' had pools in this position). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Kamari isn't Santorini that everyone expects to see, but you definitely feel this part of the city to be a real Greece. Also, it's just 20-30 mins drive from Fira, Oia or Vlychada, so, it's easy to get to any part of the island. The touristic area is arranged very well and it has a plenty of nice restaurants, bars and even a couple of decent stores. Also, this is the most children friendly part of the island despite that Santorini fits more to the couples and less to the families with kids. This is a good area to stay for someone who wants to see Santorini, but also to enjoy sunshine and to stay on the beach. Btw, the beach is lovely!

Kamari is on the east side of the island.
Kamari is on the east side of the island. It's away from all the busy places, such as Fira and Oia. We've visited both and would never want to stay there. If you go, check the Cruiseboat Checker app to see how many cruise boats there are.
Kamari is calmer and super friendly, has a strip with excellent restaurants and small boutique sips, and has the most friendly people. Prices are cheaper in Kamari, too.

Kamari may not have the caldera views but it offers a genuine Greek summer vacation experience. You can visit the caldera to have the experience and then return to Kamari which is a genuine Greek island village with its nice beach and numerous restaurants and cafes to choose from.

Four days on the beach and I feel more drained than when I arrived. There is no corner to hide away from tourism and although it's beautiful water and breathtaking view, you can't completely detach because of the planes arriving and departing every half hour and people trying to strip you down for every penny in your pocket.

From travelling around Santorini we found Kamari to be the best part of the island. It is clean, has lovely restaurants and shops and whilst the beach is pebbly there are free sun lounges with a beautiful view out to sea. We hired a car and it was easy and free to park it near by. We would also recommend the Atlantis museum and the open air cinema.

The host Vangelis was great- very helpful and went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience- we will be coming back!
The Villas were in a great location, and very beautiful.
This was a perfect spot for our entire multi-generational family, and was central to many great restaurants, and other amenities, including a gorgeous open air cinema! Joanna Villas was in a perfect spot with easy access to the most touristy parts of Santorini, without having to stay right in the most crowded areas. The breakfast was also great for all ages!
The hotel itself is situated on the picturesque Kamari Beach of the Santorini island. The staff greeted us with a bottle of a red wine, what a surprise! We slept in a light room with A/C and WiFi. The bathroom of the room is designed like a cave of a prehistoric man. Breakfast was good, with variety of Greek foods including famous Greek yogurt and fresh fruits like watermelon and other. In the hotel yard there 2 swimming pools one big with 1.9m depth another is small with jacuzzi. Overall a positive experience!
The hotel is immaculate and the bedrooms are well equipped, spacious and beautifully presented. Service was excellent and we were met with a friendly and helpful reception. Breakfast is excellent and includes lots of continental staples alongside some local specialities. The hotel is well located in Kamari which has a great range of restaurants and shops alongside beautiful beaches. There is lots of parking nearby so we’d recommend renting a car from the airport and then exploring the rest of Santorini.
Super location, daily cleaned rooms (every day we have a new towels too) very nice personal and very tasty meals with breakfast. We also tryed two different reastaurants in Kamari but Kings restaurant was the best in promenade. We will deffinetely recommend this suits. Prizes were ok too, for meal aroud 15€. They have their own sunbeds and beach towels. Beach was very clean too, but we reccomend to buy special shoes to the sea.
Thank you Kings for our first stay in Santorini!
We stayed in 4 hotels during our trip to Santorini (including high end luxury), Sagalas Beach Hotel, for us, was a real find. Location is great to travel out to Pyrgos and Imerovigli (15 mins by car). airport 10 mins by car. Fira 20/25 by car.
Accomodation was spacious, we opted for 2 bed suite, 2 bathrooms, Great terrace with sea view and kitchen. Extremely clean - very comfy beds - lovely staff who care! Very efficient property and as everyone says - great breakfast.
Our stay at Blue Sea was wonderful, the hotel is beautifully situated just minutes away from the beach and at the same time nicely tucked away from the main hustle and bustle of Kamari.
Stunning pool area, nice hotel rooms, great breakfast & service.. but beyond that I must point out how lovely the staff was, in particular Lefteris and Manos that helped us with local recommendations to really get the best out of our stay in Kamari/Santorini. Σας ευχαριστώ πολύ!!
The staff was amazing , you feel immediately like you are home and welcomed . The smile never leaves their faces . ( especially Olga and Fia)
The hotel was super nice and our room was perfect for a family of 4. It was quiet and overlooking the pool area .
The location of the hotel was perfect: the beach , restaurants , shops , bus station to visit other places in Santorini are all a few minutes away, very practical yet very quiet and relaxing .
everything was perfect the location, the bedroom is comfortable clean and has a cute balcony you have everything you need
the owner are extremely nice people and helped me a lot with an issue I had (my luggage got lost by the airplane company)
I would totally recommend this place for your stay in santorini
the area is very nice the bus station is super close
there is a supermarket just next to the hotel and a lot of nice shops and restaurants
We had a late night flight, so we rented this room on our last day so we could store our luggage and shower before our flight. We also chose this hotel because it gave us access to beach towels and beach beds, and we just wanted a nice relaxing beach day on our last day. The price was really fair for all that we wanted and it met our expectations for all of these things. We also enjoyed checking out this side of Santorini.
Fantastic value for money in a great area of Santorini. Close to lots of bars and restaurants and a nice beach. We took our 16 month old daughter and it was perfect. The pool has a large shallow area for little ones and a little playground. All the staff were so good with her, especially the breakfast lady! The rooms are a good size and nice balcony’s. We would definitely recommend Rivari hotel for families.
everything about this property was wonderful. The location is fantastic, right on the beach! The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming. A happy spot to stay and enjoy Santorini. My daughter and I were sad to leave and can not wait to come back for another visit and stay again!
A very clean, pleasant and comfortable family hotel. Delicious breakfast and splendid flowers in the garden. The host was very kind and hospitable. I' ll recomand HIPPOCAMPUS to all my friends who want to experience gorgeous holidays in Kamari, on Santorini Island😊
The breakfast was unbelievable. The room was big and the staff always present when needed. The hotel is really well located, around 2 min from the beach, restaurants, a shuttle/van stop that takes you anywhere in Santorini, we had a great time there.
Daily cleaning, owner very nice and helpful.
Bus stop and shop close to the house
To the beach also a few minutes away
Quiet air conditioning, could work all night
If I will in Santorini again I will come back to this hotel :)
Kayla suites was amazing, the staff were really friendly, kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy and a great size. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Santorini it’s close to Kamari Beach.
If you want to have a real vacation in Santorini, this is the perfect place to stay. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood , very clean and comfortable room, and sofia is very friendly and welcoming.
Beautiful hotel close to Kamari beach. Loved the pool area, had a really relaxing stay here. Staff were so helpful. Would recommend for stay in Santorini away from the crowds of Fira & Oia.
Very good location - not far from bar street and the beach, but away from noise. Hosts were really friendly and very helpful. Simple facilities but definitely value for money in Santorini.
Breakfast was on the borderline. The only important advantage of this Hotel was its location, as it was only about 50 m far from the very nice beach of Kamari in Santorini
nice management/owner, some charm, good swimming
pool, good breakfast, very good value and convenient
to Santorini airport and short walk to Kamari beach
