Great accommodation run by lovely people, I was in Methana for a wedding taking place near Vathi where all accommodation was booked out, but I don't regret staying a couple of km away in Megalochori, the views from the guesthouse are amazing and it's a nice quick walk down to the cute port of Vathi.
The food was delicious and the room was very comfortable.

The room was very cosy, with a balcony and kitchenette. The owner was nice. A place where to keep a car outside of the house. The yard was full of blooming flowers which made it very cosy.

Considering we decided to travel to more places in Greece on a budget than fewer places that cost more we were very happy with our stay. Normally I would rate a place at this level at a score of around 8 but the kindness, care and consideration of our wonderful host makes us feel a 10 is deserved. What a lovely lady Matoula is… she made us feel absolutely at home as though she was a kindly relative we were staying with not just a host.
There was only one issue with our stay - something was broken which was not our hosts fault - once we mentioned it she moved heaven and earth (like Greek Goddess :) to get it fixed promptly and we were full of respect for her efforts.
The nicest part of our stay apart from making a new friend was the wonderful front patio with it’s water view to one side, shady trees, cooling breeze in a unseasonal heatwave and comfy seating. We enjoyed pooping down to the shops for great coffee and Greeky breakfast goods within minutes to come back and have a comfy enjoyable start to the day.
Again each time we returned “home” from an adventure we would gravitate to the patio. Despite being budget rooms we all had great sleeps. We would love to return to lovely and very different Methana and will stay at Aerides Studios to see our friend Matoula (and her sister and young Nick who greeted us when we arrived). Thank you for a special and memorable stay :) xx

The property is conveniently located in the town of Methana, very close to the sea. The garden pine tree was bringing enough shade to cool of the hot days of our stay. The host was very kind to make our stay really nice.

Kalloni is a very small village, there is nothing to see.
Kalloni is a very small village, there is nothing to see. But usefull to see Epidavros or Poros or the volcano around Methana. 20 Minute driving to all these places. But: There is a very nice beach and at the paralia a nice, family organized sea food restaurant.
Lovely, little village, very quiet, mostly local residents and only few tourists, the hotel is located few meters from the shore, however getting the nearest beach takes about 10 minutes walk. The sea view is guaranteed and the access to the sea as well. The host was very nice, allowed us to stay after check out hours to have enough time for breakfast and packing our stuff.
